Enlighten me with your knowledge of kratom

When I try new drugs I tend to want to experience the best a certain drug can give with regards to effects, I've read a lot of material on kratom on BL, I've looked into it having stimulant properties nd then opioid like ones.. and it being legal is a surprise, but is it all what it's made out to be?
- are concentrated oils made from kratom legal too?
-There are different strains of kratom but is it similar to that of sativa to indica like pot where one is more upper and one downer?
If I wanted a downer for kratom what do you guys suggest this isn't to use for wds or anything it is to see what this kratom really is, what are the most effective non invasive ROA (I can't iv myself because I move too much)
What do you really use it for? And by that I ask, stimulant? Downer? Dissassociative? Can it produce a significant amount of euphoria, because I particularly go for substances that offer that property
I haven't seen kratom overdoses but let's be real overdose does not just mean death, it can include taking more than one can handle, I've had a friend "overdose" on some thc i put together comprised of several strains of wax shatter and crumble rolled together with hash and had him running around my backyard claiming the devil was going to get him, and i gave him a tiiny hit where i can handle smoking it all day or till i pass out but back to topic
- can kratom be the next " cannabis" not in literal terms but in terms of variety along with effect profile?

If you use it be it for wds or to use it explain to me - why - and what you particularly enjoy about it and your ROA

Personally I found Kratom to be underwhelming and causing head problems. A lot of people swear by and love the stuff but I can only speak on my experience of the drug.

I was taking 7-10 grams by capsules I made. After a while I found that I was getting dark, suicidal thoughts. My head just wasn’t on right when I was on kratom. Later on I read that it almost acts like an SSRI which probably explains why it messed with my head.

Hope this helps, I didn’t find it anywhere near on par with even codeine

interesting, personally ive actually been anti-SSRI because of its interaction with stimulants that i use whenever i damn well please and they can fuck the brain signals up thus i avoid them, not to mention Serotonin is the 'well being' chemical that i never wana mess with

But I'd definitely say it's worth a shot being legal and pretty cheap to obtain my friend

and I won't lie it definitely had some effects, my opiate tolerance was down at the time but I was definitely "high" so to speak on the doses I was taking. Not like a strong opiate high, but noticable

You have a big opiate tolerance, right? It might be hard to get the full effects of kratom as it is a partial agonist of the mu and delta opioid receptors. Kratom has a dizziness effect it produces when you dose too much material, that seems independent on its opiate action, so you might end up dosing enough to get dizzy without feeling any positives. But assuming you get good positives, yes, it starts out somewhat stimulating, and then becomes sedating after an hour or two. Back in the day, I had tried hydrocodone a few times, and then got a good kratom buzz, and LOVED it so much. Somewhat empathogenic almost, but I was opiate-naive. I got massively addicted to it and then moved on to stronger opiates eventually.

I'd recommend a white strain. The greens are more stimulating, the reds are more sedating, and the white is, IMO, the best because it's right in the middle, the best of both worlds. Where it is from and the variety determines the ratio of alkaloids (mitragynine to 7-HO-mitragynine, and there are also other alkaloids in there). I find kratom's high to resemble oxycodone's high more than any other opioid I can think of, though it is unique (and not as strong).

But yeah if you're taking 450-500mg of morphine daily I doubt it's going to get you high. It would help ease withdrawals to some extent though, or maybe even substantially.

By the way you couldn't possibly IV kratom or any kratom extracts, I saw you mention, please no one ever try that.

I know you're not saying you were going to IV it but just for the sake of people reading this thread I just wanted to mention in case there is any confusion... never, ever try to IV a plant extract, you could die.
