My first entheogenic experience, a combo that is addictive and aimed directly at dopamine receptors. A simple classic; one joint, one tobacco cigarrette. The tobacco is to chase down the buzz. The "desert" as collaquialy reffered to.

For me it was when I was alcoholic and developed a VERY severe case of a cute pancreatitis. I was in agony so they injected me with 10mg morphine every 4 hours for the ten weeks I was there. Because my alcohol withdrawal was so severe, the usual 50mg Chlordiazapoxide just wasn't enough so they added 2.5mg Lorazepam to it. And for some reason 1.5mg Haloperidol.
So I went from ZERO med/drug experience - apart from my prescription Sertraline to all this. By the time I left I was on:
(this is daily)
60mg IV Morphine (this is the equivalent of 180mg of oral Morphine)
300mg Chlordiazapoxide
20mg Lorazepam
4.5mg Haloperidol

And that's how I first experienced drugs and started my love affair with prescription medication.

wow...thnx for sharing. Say, do u look back at the doctors who injected so much into you with anger or fondness?

It's a mixed feeling of:
They opened me up the what feeling happy was. And not being perpetually anxious. I love them for that.
I also hate them for pushing me down the rabbit hole without once considering as to however I to get out again
Overall, I've decided they did the right thing. Even with the benzo I was dieing from severe alcohol withdrawal so they needed to give me more
Pancreatitis is up there on the most "most painful diseases/injuries/etc" and I had the severest form it, so I was always screaming in pain and they needed to give me that morphine "to keep me comfortable" so even they did cause me a hellish life of addiction. in the end I believe they were doing their best for me.
