Well, where do I start?......I'm sending you all a big hello from,Scotland?✌. My cat has been on drugs since the day she was born. I'm sure that there is a correlation between difficult births and drug use I'd love to know your thoughts?. Also I've noticed female cat's go wild for crack, cocaine and speed. I read somewhere that it was due to our hormones and mucus in the nose. It would be great to hear what other cat's think? Anyway,at the moment cat's relapsed onto crack(since December last year and chipping away on heroin for coming down, taking zimmos when cat can get them, taking prescribed valium and 75 mg of Quietiapine daily. Cat was on a methadone program from 2004-2015 and absolutely hated it however it saved cat, many lives and as a cat I'm all for harm reduction. So yeah cat came from the old school and pot WAS,NOT THE GATEWAY DRUG!!!! Cat uses pot every day and since I'm now on suboxone(8mg...NOT HOLDING CAT..CRAVINGS UNBEARABLE) Cat has a CPN and an Angel at that because she knows that the drugs are NOT the problem. Cat's extremely thankful to have her. She certainly rocks the substance misuse service which cat's used since 2004 when cat got on methadone, she was also on 8 blues a day( ex husband started cat off on 2mg in 1999 oh how quickly the GP put the cat's dose up). Cat's managed to come down to 50mg from 80mg then from 50mg to 30mg and now cat's permanently on 20mgs.Cat also takes Prozac 80mg for a variety of issues.

To begin with cat absolutely adored MDMA,Ecstasy,Cocaine,Acid,Weed and Pot. I never drank alcohol as it busted cat's buzz whilst out on the underground post punk and rave scene

Proud Mother who doesn't use if cat hasn't got money. Bill's and food come 1st. That's when cat has to get creative with the drug use and weigh up different drug use. Cat's on benefits due to lots of things, physically and mentally. At the moment cat's craving crack and brown badly. It's a daily struggle and this cat doesn't trust anyone.

I feel honoured to be part of Blue light,I've learnt so much as a guest in the past. I believe highly in harm reduction and speaking openly as it is only then that we can evolve as humans. I am not against anything I believe that all drugs serve a,purpose especially natural plants. I am here on a journey, hoping to learn so much from others who have experience and the knowledge.

Sorry for ranting on this cat can be so resilient and yet so fragile. The dichotomy of this cat's life!!!!!

Looking forward to reading great topics, keeping in the loop and learning from others.

Peace and Respect

Greets Luna from another northern Brit:)

I see you've been told what I was gonna say above anyway - also am an animal lover so can't stand the thought of cats on drugs!

Watch out for the Quetiapine mate, I've seen that shit do serious damage unfortunately

Do you know this my CPN first prescribed it to me 25mg at night to help me sleep. The morning after taking just 25mg I was totally fucked. I couldn't function. Then I became used to the 25mg and the psychiatrist I had been seeing put me onto the modified release 50mg for night because I was still having trouble sleeping. I absolutely hate this drug because I know I've put on weight since last Christmas. It actually makes me feel extremely high at times. More wise words on this pharma would be greatly appreciated. I'd prefer just to toot gear....Yeah I really feel I'm struggling and oh how I could try opium instead of that psych med. Honestly,I'd like to know others opinions..Peace out X

In mental health circles Quetiapine is known as a 'drool drug' for good reasons...

It's an anti-psychotic - do you really think you need it? Honestly I'd recommend trying every single alternative possible to the medical-model 'treatments' before accepting a drug like that into my system. I personally wouldn't touch it with somebody else's bargepole, let alone mine

Yeah I completely agree. I can't believe it's being used for sleeping aids at 25mg. Now I'm on a fridiculous amount and it's absolutely done me no good. There's days where I just can't find my memory. It's bloody hard, enough as it is without the Quitiapine...It's made me so depressed. I've even given it an ACRONYM...Ape In Quiet...That's how I feel and it's been under 6maths. I feel I'm under big fucking pharma.....its ok for this to be dished out but it's all about the money and that's one big seller. Is there evidence that it's addictive as I have felt shit in the mornings where I can be sick and headaches. I've made up my mind ain't gonna entertain that shit. Thanks for the heads up about this drug. I've had too many bad experiences with big pharma and their drugs. Until one goes, through it one will never understand. You know I'm at that point where I'm sick of everything but hey I'm an addict of many substances...I really appreciate people getting back to me as I want to know..Peace X
