since this is the gibberings thread, I was having revelations with my flat mate while enjoying a spliff and I had this idea of taking a shot of fentanyl, "donating" it to a sick hospitalized enemy and even enjoy some of the fentanyl high while the rest is going out before it reaches the hearth so enough for a non tolerant user to OD. my final conclusion was that this could be called a cold blooded murder literally...

if they've been on my rotation for a long while and haven't fecked me off then i still listen to them just not as much.

like my 3 favourite bands when i was 16 were thrice, as friends rust, and strike anywhere. strike anywhere still play songs they played when i first saw them on tour 16 years ago and have released ace shit since. still on regular rotation. as friends rust split up and were ace the one time i saw them. still listen often but not as often as strike anywhere. if they reunite i'll listen more. thrice took ages to come to the UK and then didn't play phoenix ignition despite the entire crowd asking and i only liked their first 2 records. hardly ever listen even though those 2 records are mint.

a band splits up or starts putting out shit... i'll listen to their good stuff for nostalgia purposes.

i just went to an ace gig of a case in point... no fun at all split up for ages, i rarely listened. put out a new good album after a long time and announced a new uk tour. straight back in regular rotation.

my first ever gig not drinking and it ruled. i went in the pit and it felt mint and i got zero injuries, a lot of adrenaline. fuck it felt good. it wouldn't have felt as good if i didn't know most of the songs they played.

apocalypse fuck man good luck tomorrow!!
 
this subforum seems to be more alive than the others, except sometimes for BDD,OD or lounge but lately EADD has a lot more action compared to the others, this could be a good sign but the activity stream here did not get bigger just in the other places it got smaller but it's nice because everytime I want to read about some familiar things or just have a good laugh I can always count on EADD. I think it's the only kind of "social media" I'm using these days.
 
it may be true, bc everyday I see at least a post from you. btw I remember that you posted sometime about The Wire, I'm rewatching it again but I want to recommend an original show from HBO Europe, it's called Shadows ( Umbre in romanian) and it's about a taxi driver who is involved in underground stuff, he is mainly a debt collector but for a romanian show the whole style of filming and the actors are veeeery good. you guys have to try it, I may send you a link for a torrent if you want but idk where could I find some english subs too, but if you have bc player if I remember right it downloads subs for you. (It's streamed on HBO Go too but a fiend like me could not make it a priority money wise :)) )
 
I was a lurker for many years, I did try and join the EADD community awhile ago but that Evey bird scared me off, This is a safe place now so I pop my head in from time to time, Agreed on the only 'social media' I use - main reason - lack of fucking selfies! Altho i'm waiting on a selfie from FUBAR I'm fairly certain he's the cunt who's been following me around town !!

Should be a cracker of a year! Not the type that normally goes in for all the faff, but this year should be a little different. Anyone have any nice plans?
 
the same plan as last year and the one before it etc. quitting opiates, the plan didn't work out quite well but it was "fun" for sure. maybe setting goals like less pawning,manipulating,lying and getting off the rig would be a nice idea also.
 
I can't really stand vaping honestly, I bought one years ago but after half of a month I went back to cigs. plus I never enjoyed vaping as much as smoking normal cigarettes while on opioids.

I actually enjoy vaping more. I always have a pack of baccy in the house in case I fancy a cig (much prefer roll ups to pre-made cigs) but come January 1st I'm sticking to just the vape as my new years resolution (and we all know how well they turn out lol).

You are right about the taste of a real cig during the opiate high for sure.. There's something about opioids that just makes cigarettes taste amazing.. and it can't just be the nicotine eithe, asnif it were then nicotine gum or vaping would be the same and they're not...although the vaping comes fairly close.

The trick with succeeding with vaping I've found, is the following...

First, get a good quality set up... (not the 10 quid jobs you get from petrol station ones for starters) I had a really good 230W mod that was quite expensive but like a retard, I broke the USB port by trying to ram the charger in when it wouldn't go..

Second, experiment until you find a flavour of vape juice that you really enjoy...

Personally I find blowing huge clouds of vapour to be really satisfying....

I'm quite optimistic about this (famous last words).
 
When we first started smoking gear - and it came from the Iranians - it was pure, well as pure as it gets i.e not bashed up and at least 70% we use to take a hit on the foil then have a pull in a ciggy to stop you gagging as the taste from the gear was so strong .05 would have you nodding. I miss those days and rarely get anything above 50% and once in a blue moon 60+%.

Yay I'm remembered, tbh I'm a little worried though, as I'm rarely remembered for the right reasons =D, I do indeed remember you too you were one of my favourite loungers back in the day, unfortunately the lounge is now softer that my cock of a Saturday morning, what happened there aye ?? lol

tbf I never had any dealing with Evey personally I just saw the walls of text, harping on about going to the police, harassing Alasdairm, etc. it was just to much drama

wayyy I forgot about him, Droppersneck was amusing, I wonder what racist little rock he's swigging a bottle of wild turkey under these days (don't disrespect to wild turkey I love that dirty bird)
