I know there's a lot of relatively uniformative and/or redundant threads here, but I'm concerned that a lot of useful information will be lost in this prune. I frequently go through the search engines and read old discussions on particular subjects, particularly the megathreads - will all these be lost?

better get bumping....
 
This thread is worthy of someone fixing all the broken YouTube links. It's a cracker.
 
You may have noticed a flurry of bumped threads on the front page, but there are also a shedload that got moved over to the archive. Finding stuff in the archive isn't the easiest but *fingers crossed* all extant iterations of megathreads (and a good swedge of the "Threads of Historic Interest") should be there to trawl through at your leisure and pleasure.

Mods are only human though so we may have missed the one that matters most to you so do please take a gander through the soon-t-be-departed if you possibly can cos once they are gone they are gone forever.

Last day to get in any requests for keepsies, folks.

Hey T.A.R. all those threads are already in the archive. Nothing from our archives are being pruned. They'll remain forever in our archived vault ❤️
 
Please don't protest too loudly, but we're going to suspend the prune following this current round. We'll leave the current PENDING out for another week or so (forum mod discretion) before sweeping them away. We will then shift our focus to getting the site migrated to Xenforo ASAP. Once we settle into the new digs, we intend to explore means of to better keep a clean house, but for now, the pressure is being taken off.
