I use almost everyday. I lost 55lbs in the first 6 months. Not eating very much. Had a ton of stress. Was going through a divorce lost a job was almost homeless. My question is my hair was long thick and beautiful. It?s still long but has thinned out a lot and the texture has changed. I?ve started to eat again in the last few months. Family was beginning to question my weight I blamed it on my divorce. Is it the meth?? Will it go back to normal? I?m taking Vitamins and drinking protein shakes.

Welcome to Bluelight kittykat :) Meth can do some terrible physical things to ya, for sure. Are you still using? The best thing going for you is giving the meth a rest for a while and eating and sleeping right to get your health back. The vitamins and shakes will help too.

I've heard meth can thin out your hair, I've never personally seen it or dealt with it myself when I was using. I imagine the protein and vitamins will help it.

If you go long enough that you start becoming truly malnourished, it could thin your hair. I think more likely is you just get that dehydrated oily tweaker scalp, so your hair's all ratty and streaked, none of that bounce and body you see with people who sleep and bathe. Shampoo followed by a nice dry-scalp conditioner will do wonders for it.

As for putting weight back on, just stop the meth for a week. After you've eaten everything in your house on like day three, you'll notice the scale adjusting back to baseline.

And I'm not trying to put it back on. But I'd say about five pounds in one day, another five the next three days, then levelled off. Not for long, cause I used again a month later and lost that ten right away.

Fun stuff for weight swings. I'm sure that's real healthy too.

I can't say whether your hair will go back to normal, however if I had to make an educated guess I would vote in the contrary.
It is often the disregard and lack of upkeep fueled by the feeling of godlike powers caused by meth that spell the most dangerous doom.
Drinking vitamins and protein after the damage has been done will not serve to undo years of past negligence.
Stay safe,
Tez
