Good 80's music?

I'm starting out slow. Everything else from me'll be Hi-NRG and trashy 80s pop

Ah here, the 80's yielded some great romantic tracks (commercial romance is going to be corny but it has merit, to be fair) - there was some genuine human, tender sentiment in commercial tracks comared to the void that is left now in popular commercial music which has squeezed out any trace of musical sentimentality and is pretty void of anything but homogeneity.
