The Cost of Immigration

How easy is it for say, a South African to immigrate to Australia permanently? Do you need a visa? A work visa? And so forth regarding paperwork?

Cduggles it costs a lot of money for us to move over there, my cousin said he had to have a job to go to before they would even consider him and his family, the South African Rand is also very low compared to the Dollar so it costs a fair amount for us to leave and go over there.

A lot of my friends and my cousin said it was worth every Rand they paid to go there - the crime rate compared to here is quite low (that's what I heard)

Its a very sad state of times we live in here but I don't forsee myself and immediate family ever leaving as we would never be able to afford it

Sigh. I'm on my phone, will get some figures in time. We both know I'm right.

There will be a civil war within Europe within the next 10 years. You can quote me on that. There is already significant social unrest.

464 dead and many more injured in Europe since 2015 from Islamic terror. 1400 girls abused in the town of Rotherham alone.

A "civil war within europe"?

Europe is a country now? Fascinating.

I can't wait to hear what enoch powell had to say. :\

It gets kinda boring debating people who deliberately conflate "migration" with the unprecedented humanitarian crisis that has displaced millions of innocent people who are now seeking asylum around the world, but i suspect people that take alt right propaganda seriously probably need to hear a divergent perspective from time to time.

You're claiming that "1400 girls abused in Rotherham alone" is the result of "migration"?

Care to back that up with a legitimate source?
Presumably those alleged 1400 cases have been through the courts and are varifiable?

So what else do you call it when refugees enter a country? Is it "refugeegration"?

I call it a humanitarian crisis that is not the time to get all xenophobic in pursuit of ratings or votes.

Immigration is the stuff BehindtheShadow is talking about. It is difficult and expensive for the emigree and often leaves both better off.

Refugees have no choice but to leave their homes, and want to return.

Thank you for the great reply!
I'm so sorry you are unable to find safety in South Africa. I'm very aware of the violence and it's terrible.
I wish you and all your loved ones protection from any hardship or violence.

My posts seem to keep disappearing!

In response to cduggles - Its sad because almost every South African I know has been affected by violent crime.

Just last year I was in an armed robbery with guns to my head, kicked and beaten. I am still traumatised and its a year later!

PS don't get me wrong I love it here just sad about the crime - it detracts from the true beauty of this country

Is this not human trafficking which is different from migration?

It refers to girls (mainly white girls, also some Indian, from poor backgrounds, many in state care) who were raped by gangs of muslim men who were mainly of Pakistani origin. They were also passed between gangs in different cities which is where I'm assuming you got the human trafficking bit from..

The response by the authorities was largely non-existent because officials (cops, social workers, teachers) were either themselves reluctant to pursue the cases or were pressured not to. This was because they were afraid of causing conflict between racial/religious groups by bringing to wider attention the substantial number of Muslim sex offenders.

The left wing has largely gone AWOL on this, because it pretty severely undermines the whole diversity is great narrative.

Who would've thought importing large numbers of muslim men (who follow a religion founded by someone who raped a 9 year old girl) from countries where women are treated as cattle would have these kind of negative effects? Crazy huh?

But what's that? Non-muslims rape too?? Oh ok, guess they were right to sweep that under the rug for the sake of "diversity"

Any point you're trying to make just gets lost in your obsessiom with point-scoring against "the left".
The world is diverse. Humanity is diverse.
No amount of racist finger-pointing will ever change that.

I'm not engaging in "cheap point scoring". I'm staring facts. A Labor MP recently wrote an article about these gangs and was stood down from cabinet. I'm fucking enraged about the fact that young girls were abused and the people who were supposed to protect them didn't do shit. These were working class girls. They were vulnerable. They had no one.

It is a henious and disgraceful situation.

"humanity is diverse" wow thanks spacejunk. I haven't spent my life in a bubble. A big reason I'm so opposed to Islam is because of the way I've seen some young men from Muslim background treat girls and women. They have no respect whatsoever. Not every single one of them, but a hell of a lot.

You can hand wring and go on about stereotypes all you want but this shit isn't going to go away.

You don't seem to give a damn about the women who are the alleged victims of these crimes - you just exploit their suffering to push your racist bullshit.

Bluelight isn't a forum for islamophobic garbage. You've been told this before.

I'll refer you to the Bluelight user agreement.

I don't care how "opposed" you are to islam. If you can't respect other peoples' religious and spiritual beliefs, that's your shortcoming, your problem.
this isn't the place to propagate racist vitriol.

I see I've really triggered you by bringing this up. All I've stated is facts, and my own anecdotal experiences.

I don't respect many Islamic teachings, and the don't respect the Muslims who follow those teachings. Why? Because those teachings are disgraceful, dehumanising and backward practices.

Muhammad raped a 9 year old girl. Do you think that makes him a bad person? I certainly do. Is it racist to say that? (Notwithstanding the obvious fact that Islam is a faith adhered to by all races, including whites )
