I have another 'quick question' regarding sources: Do you read one article, see one news report, hear one thing, and assume it is the truth? Do you ever think, huh- I wonder if that is true, and then do some research? When I do this, I find that you can find a thread that may run through 5 different articles that conclude very different things. Ususally that thread is the particle of truth that you should look into, in my experience.

Depending on what you read you get into completely different conclusions, different info, so I ask myself what do they have in common? Normally the fragment of thuth (to me) is that piece of information that they all have in common. Put that together with the reality you see everyday, sometimes coming out of Trump's tweets and improvisations.. not difficult to see things are not going so well IMO.

Examples of these can be found just about anywhere, and I know for a fact that many in the Latino community take offense at the term Mexican alone. There is many reasons for this, highest on that list is that not all 'brown' people are from Mexico.

Liquid, I figured out where you are getting the facts that you keep spouting: Trump himself! Alternative facts are not, by the very definition of alternative, really what is going on. (Maybe this being a more negative comment will get your attention enough to respond to my questions?)

This can be viewed in two ways. Are you getting your information from the Clinton-sponsored fake news media? You may suppose that these outlets are publishing news that is more respectable or legitimate but that is objectively not the case anymore. You cannot just simply ignore the multitude of times that they have been caught straight lying and deceiving the public and then just pretend that they are giving you the full story. They also have an agenda to remove or deligitimize Trump so they will even spin his factual statements as incorrect.

If I were an illegal immigrant, I would no longer choose the US as the place I would go.

Would it be safer or more truthful to just say that Donald Trump is a bigot? After all his horrible statements are not just limited to race. Maybe in this way, the statement by Liquid 'Donald Trump' is not racist, could be considered a (alternative) fact?

Again some of the more sensitive members of our community need to not conflate being non-politically correct with being bigoted. Sometimes a comment that other poiticians would be petrified to say seems out of line for that reason, but if you really analyze it it is not bigoted or racist. The worst you could say about some of the comments is that they are unbecoming of a President, but I personally think this type of rhetoric is full of shit and is only spouted by hypocritical, politically-retarded losers. These are the type of people that do not care about a leader bombing multiple countries and starving millions of people as long as their speeches to the domestic public sound refined and polished. Honestly, fuck those people. I'd hate to see how often they are hoodwinked by random people in their daily lives.

I've consistently asked for examples proving that the president is racist while providing a lot of evidence to the contrary. When it comes to this debate specifically, (some) people are mostly unwilling to engage or analyze the examples on a deeper level which says a lot about their stance. They've already made their minds up, which explains the myriad of answers like "of course, Trump is racist" and "Trump is obviously racist".

No, it is not obvious that he racist or bigoted. It is obvious that he will not pander to politically-correct crybabies to say what they want him to say. And they've known that since the beginning so no use complaining about that. I've seen from his past comments (and actions) that he is not racist. The problem is that his detractors can never allow this reality to sink in. He MUST remain racist in their minds at all costs because in that case he is deserving of all the irrational hate and abuse.

But, the bigger problem is when truths are said to be lies or "fake news". I accept that politicians lie, it is inevitable, but Trump is dismantling the idea of truth. What is true to him, and his adherents, is whatever he says is true. And he's a terrible human so his "truths" are terrible too. Post-truth is a truly horrifying concept to me. Truth is absolute and not a matter of opinion or bias.

How would you like it if Trump came to your house and just 'Grab ’em by the pussy. You can do anything.'? That is a link to the New York Times, where they transcribed a tape of Trump talking to another celebrity in regards to women, maybe Bill owns the New York Times? Oh, and the station that the shows Days of our Lives, in which Trump was making a guest appearance?
