New here...old addiction...new concerns.

Hey Everyone...I am a first times active member...but have came here many times for help/advice. I was born and raised East Coast. Been battling opiate addiction (pills) for years. Recently made a major life change and moved to the West Coast.
The thought was to "runaway" from the pill scene...well met the devil himself in a dance (HEROIN) and he won't let go. Any that can relate?

I can definitely relate. What's one of the sayings "the devil is everywhere ". So it'like you really can't physically remove yourself (run away) from him. Recognize it for what he (it) is and take away it's power. Anyway, wish you the best to overcome that beast from the east.

Yip, I moved to Germany for a few months to overcome heavy heavy MDMA and lesser damaging drug use and came back with a benzodiazepine habit as well.
