I have my own criticisms of Trump. Overall so far so good though, all things considered.
Re: Russian hacking, Yes you could say that Russian hackers tried to hack the United States. That is a vague accusation however and something that we've been dealing with ever since the Ruskis discovered the Internet. We hack them, they hack us, everyone is hacking everyone. But the claim is that Russian government hackers somehow influenced the election. That hasn't really been clearly defined and there doesn't seem to be a way to prove it. For one a competent hacker can hide his traces or make the hack look like it came from elsewhere. Then there is no way to tell that Putin himself directed the hackers. What did they do, influence the election by showing us how corrupt Hillary Clinton was? They hacked normal emails but didn't hack and release the top-secret intel that she stored on an unsecured server? < That should be the real hacking scandal. Not to mention that all evidence of the DNC leaks points to an internal leaker. Why did Assange say that Seth Rich leaked the emails? If you genuinely believe that Russian hackers swung the election for Trump then you are more of a conspiracy theorist than I am.
Saying that Russian hackers took down the American electoral process is like saying that a bird that flew into my bedroom window is going to destroy my entire house. Also what about Obama & Clinton literally mocking Trump before the election? They stated that the US electoral process was watertight, unriggable and that Trump should "stop whining and go make a case to get more votes". Some of us forget their smugness and complete disdain for that possibility (because they were certain they would win). However after the shock loss they changed their tune pretty damn quick.
