Liquid Method
I'll save you some time by responding for you.
Again, labeling him a racist and a misogynist without being able to back up those claims pretty much invalidates your whole stance as it exposes your lack of critical thinking skills
and your tendency to be swept up by mainstream media lies.
Okay.
As referenced, it's hard to post links with quotes in them when the reply is "FAKE NEWS!" so I refer you to his very own Twitter feed, in which he retweets the comments of white supremacists, insults people of other ethnicities, and has been utterly degrading to women... There is footage of him and quotes from him insulting minorities and women BUT IT'S DOCTORED AND FAKE NEWS LIKE THE CROWD SIZE AT HIS INAUGURATION!!!!
That's a subjective opinion, not provable and simply false. Exaggerations and half-truths are the norm with irrational Trump-haters. Why don't you stick to facts, it will make your argument stronger.
Ask the Saudis, citizens of the United Arab Emirates and Qataris about that "opinion". I'd post some links that otherwise support this well-known
fact, but "FAKE NEWS!"
The concerted media-driven campaign to spread lies and demonize him is unprecedented in US presidential history. He has a right to be mad and defend himself.
He might have a right to flip out and answer every criticism, but should he have the time?
Between that, his cable TV watching, and the excessive golfing, he isn't exactly putting in "leader of the free world" hours, particularly for someone completely inexperienced on the legal side (i.e., not bribing) and constitutional and structural aspects of the political system as well as for someone who didn't think the job would be so hard. FAKE QUOTE! SAD! BRILLIANT BUSINESSMAN!
His fellow Republicans and close colleagues and lawyers all wish he would stop tweeting. YOU MEAN COMMUNICATING DIRECTLY WITH THE AMERICAN PEOPLE HE CARES ABOUT LOTS!
And what you've written here is called an opinion. If I can't have opinions, you can't regurgitate his and the alt-right's either.
There's nothing unprecedented about any of this except Trump is too thin-skinned to accept criticism. And are Saturday Night Live or The Late Show with Stephen Colbert part of the mainstream media now? OF COURSE THEY ARE! FAKE NEWS! LOCK HER UP!
Oops. Ignore last exclamation.
I agree that it was outrageous to call him a Muslim, the follow-up accusation that he attended a radical BLACK Christian Church, that he was gay, a user of "fancy mustard", when certain "birthers" demanded he release his birth certificate and then the long form of it and then accusing him and other people of forging that document because he wasn't born in the US but rather Kenya, and thinly veiled racist statements like he is "well-spoken" because he doesn't speak in ebonics gave him every right to fire back at the press incessantly.
Oh wait...
George Bush had a better vocabulary? And acted presidential? How quickly we forget...
Yes. I could post an analysis of his vocabulary compared to all modern Presidents including George W. Bush that showed this, but FAKE SCIENCE AND FAKE NEWS! BUILD THAT WALL!
Oops. Ignore the last exclamation.
Something needs to be done about the clusterfuck known as American "healthcare". Should've been protesting when all the previous "presidential" presidents let the situation deteriorate to the mess that it is now. No, instead we'll just criticize and obstruct Trump from attempting to fix the problem (instead of offering solutions or working together with him). This isn't really about healthcare, it's political
My work is intrinsically tied to health care and government policy, so take your accusation and shove it at some other agent of the Deep State. I did something a bit more effective than holding up a sign.
I must have missed Trump's healthcare proposal. I'm sure it's "great" and not "mean". Where can I read it or is it all still in his head with the tax overhaul legislation he said had been drafted? :D
In America, we have three branches of government. The executive branch is led by the president and those agencies and staff that traditionally support the president, and as its name suggests, the legislative branch is involved with the crafting and passing of legislation, particularly large-ticket legislation that affects Americans of all ages and 1/6 of the economy. The legislative body in the United States is Congress. (The third branch is not relevant to this particular point.) There are currently two healthcare plans being put forward by the House of Representatives and the Senate, which constitute our bicameral Congressional body.
Is it the Republican-majority House of Representatives obstructing Trump from fixing the problem or the Republican-controlled Senate? Or the mainstream media? Or the LGBT community? Or illegal immigrants? Or is it Trump himself as evidenced by his inability to articulate what any healthcare legislation proposes, why Americans should like it, why he lied during his campaign about what healthcare would become under his "leadership" or even display a basic grasp of healthcare itself, such as the difference between Medicare and Medicaid? LIES! SAD! CLIMATE CHANGE IS A HOAX INVENTED BY THE CHINESE!
Oops. Ignore last exclamation.
Because the war machine needs to continue. The establishment is not interested in peace.
Okay. Sure.
Trump however thinks that the waste of human resources is bad for business and wants to improve relations with Russia, and actually target terrorists in Syria (instead of covertly funding them to enact regime change).
What? Trump doesn't want war? Well someone needs to go to the Middle East (throw a dart), China, Japan, North and South Korea and reassure them of his peaceful intentions.
Pop quiz: Name
at least three countries to which Trump has deployed US troops.
Also here's how Syria breaks down:
Side A: Bashar-al Assad, current President of Syria who is killing anyone who opposes his presidency; he started with his own people. The Assad regime is supported by
Russia, Iran and Hezbollah.
Side B: the Syrian people who are fleeing and getting slaughtered wholesale caught between Assad + Russia et al and ISIS.
Side C: ISIS, who rushed in to take the opportunity to establish a caliphate, in part due to the chaos created by the civil war.
Side D: the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), which consists of US-trained and backed Syrian Kurds and Arab fighters.
US support of the Kurds in Syria is making Turkey unhappy and the Kurds are viewed with suspicion by the Syrian Arabs.
We also have troops in Iraq, which has a hostile relationship with Iran. It's complex.
Also, while the SDF is fighting the good fight against terrorism, Assad is taking advantage and killing "Arab militants" and gaining territory. So we are not-so-indirectly advancing Assad's agenda. It's not a good thing and it's hypocritical that we're helping Assad slaughter the Syrian people, with or without chemical weapons.
The Russia-Assad-Iran axis lines up rather interestingly with the US-Syrians if they are attacked with chemical weapons-Iraq coalition, doesn't it?
So guess who we're escalating the risk of fighting if we keep fighting in Syria or
if Trump orders more bombing? In Iraq?
That's right. The Russians.
Now I don't think Trump understands much of this and I shudder that it's someone's job to explain it to him, but Trump the Peaceful has not shown himself to be a dove thus far (how many months has it been?).
The ruling establishment cannot allow these sweeping (and beneficial) changes to foreign policy so again, they will attempt to obstruct him politically. Where was the obstruction when the past presidents were conducting illegal wars and murdering millions of civilians? Most of the claims leveled at Trump these days are not taken seriously simply due to the feigned outrage and hypocrisy.
I literally have no idea what you're talking about here. None.
Because he's not legally obliged to.
Not yet.
