Hello fellow Bluelighters. Been inactive a long long time. I'm a 31 yr old (female) musician from Ireland. Longtime lurker (15yrs!) - occasional poster. Opiates are my main DOC. Went through WD's off Oxy and Palexia last year but finding myself using on and off again when i can get them. Was offered methadone last year but I decided to go it alone. Would be great to talk to some like-minded people, especially in Ireland. PM me if you like or for Greenlighters just post me here and say hi. ??

While you were gone, I showed up to not really contribute much.

Let's see, I used to play music, no real talent. Never been to Ireland or Europe. Never had an opiate issue (plenty of other issues), even after 8 days in hospital on IV dilaudid, current drug of misuse is a stimulant. Well, our Venn diagram of shared interests is just two circles, but we probably still have similar drug-weasels crawling around our brains.

I am not Irish, cant play any musical instrument and DOC is amphetamines.

Thus our venn diagram dowsnt really have any links except history of drugs, could just listen to music abnd have been in the same room as Bono once ..?
 
Hi Scrofula, nice to meet you. Are you in USA then? I've been once and I've done plenty of stimulants in my time, been playing music for a long time but still trying to hit the sweet spot I guess- anyway that sort of makes 3 things!
 
Hi zephyr, no worries my DOC was pretty much anything I could get my hands on when I was younger (before I found God, I mean Oxy haha) so we've still got stuff in common for sure- I guess everyone here does or they wouldn't be here! ? Nice to make your acquaintance.
 
Awesome if you kicked 'em without help. I had to do it too and I wished I was dead for about a month. Loved those little blue Roxy 30's so much I still dream about them! Welcome too BTW, I was a lurker for a good while as well lol. BTW, I'm Scots/Irish and have always thought you women from that part of the world are the hottest! No flirt intended, just a compliment!




EDIT: Gotta ask, have you tried KRATOM? If not you are missing out completely being an ex-opiate addict! OD proof, make you feel amazing with zero withdrawal symptoms! Its cheap to get on ebay most times when the dealers are supplied, but full disclosure....after a long conversation on the threads here, I agree that it has minor addictive properties and some problems with dependence. Compared to opiates, though, its like detoxing from Ibuprophin or acetametaphyn. Almost non-existent. Its in the coffee family, so may be about as addictive as caffeine.

Thanks for the compliment BTW (ppl actually think I'm from somewhere else cos I'm blonde and green eyed).
Anyway, I've used Kratom for about a year in the past, when I was getting off Oxy and ended up using the Kratom every day. Unfortunately after awhile it started giving me major headaches and making me throw up so had to quit. Then I changed to tapentadol (Palexia) for a couple years, kicked the habit for the most part now. Still dabbling when I can but trying to space it out to avoid the tolerance/WD problem.
 
Come and visit social for weird conversation and EADD has local weird people talking about stuff too

Thanks. I sure thought both Africa and Europe were a long way from Australia, but I forgot cats can use the shadow tunnels to get around.

But anyway, so I'm not invited then? Are those drugs specifically to the region? Like, only South Americans can talk about Ayahuasca in the S. America forums? You can only mention Pombe in the African one?

Hi there from north of the border, I'm of similar age and drug likes also.....dam those lovely opiates..... currently 8 or 9 days into a wd.

this thread is amazing! i must admit that i'm super impressed at your early join date and low post count.
that's so cool - i feel like such a postwhore by comparison (quite rightly).

nice to have you posting after signing up so long ago.
i thought that i lurked for a long time before ever posting, but that was probably about 8 years, at a guess. once i started posting i kinda got into it, and i guess i made up for lost time :)
