^ a lot of people clearly bought into his campaign promises about change and awesome deal-making and draining the swamp, etc.
change? not so much.

we'll never know.Still better choice than Hillary.
so you agree his vocal criticism of obama for using executive orders was unwarranted? That depends on how much of his promises he's fulfilling. Those executive orders had to do something.
Trump is on track to spend more on travel this year than Obama did in 8Also how is he spending millions more if he took the office 3 months ago.
Donald Trump is well on his way to spending more on travel in a year than Obama did during his eight years as president.
Citing a 2016 Government Accountability Office report, CNN found that President Barack Obama's four-day trip to Florida in 2013 added up to $3.6 million in Secret Service and Coast Guard costs.
While the cost of individual trips may vary, the news outlet estimated that the six weekends (21 days, in total) Trump has spent at his Mar-A-Lago estate in Florida since becoming president added up to roughly $21.6 million.

it's a simple enough issue - odd that you'd sit on the fence.I neither agree or disagree...
from today: President Trump brags about getting highest ratings since 9/11 coverage
do you defend that? do you think that's not worthy of criticism?
the same criticism can be applied to many who lean right, including some who post here.
i lean left and i absolutely concede the possibility that my political ideology may be flawed when applied to reality.
so i guess you're just demonstrably wrong?

can you post a link to a post where i've said either of those things?
he's been in office for about 100 days and has absolutely no major legislative accomplishments. he heavily criticised his predecessor for using executive orders to take action yet he's signed 32 orders in his first 100 days - more than any president since ww2. trump told us all he was a bigly deal maker who wouldn't need to rely on this tool for the weak...
from a town hall in sc, february 2016:
just more blatant hypocrisy.
you can't discuss or criticise his administration without discussing or criticising him because of the way he's choosing to govern.

I don't know enough about what he did with those orders to choose on which side of the fence I sit.it's a simple enough issue - odd that you'd sit on the fence.

How do we screen them ? Not like they need to sign legal documents when joining ISIS and becoming sleeper agents. The refugee crisis could have been handled better if the separate countries had the ability to take in what refugees they had screened and cleared as genuine refugees and not had groups going freely between countries they themselves wanted to go to. Its never been that way. Refugees are designated a country to reside in from the first safe port of call usually. The open border allowed this free movement of people who already had made it to a safe country .
I am all for taking in refugees totally but it has to be the countries choice and responsibility to their own people.
The way the crisis happened spread fear and was so disorganised and stupid. The German chancellor and head of the EU should have handled it better but did nothing.
If you want to make an omelette you have to break some eggs. The more countries leave the less the deals and sanctions will matter. I just hope May isn’t stupid enough to actually kick out the EU national because that means EU will come on it hard. It won’t have a choice. For leaving the EU, I would say there's a danger period of 2 - 5 years for that. Afterwards, the EU will see the bad deal that the UK gets. (The UK is going to get a bad deal regardless, even if the pro-EU side doesn't get their way, severing the ties will hurt the UK.)
