That's right folks,
I am claiming the title of new moderator of Sober Living!
Just kidding (not really, but really.)

Anyways,
I just want to thank the people of Bluelight for helping me so so much on my continues adventures of addiction.
I love this forum so much and it's been amazing having so many great users on here, coming together to help each other.

I wanted to thank the staff and everyone on helping me continue to never give up.
You all have been so great, and I love every single one of you.

Personal thanks to:

CJ - You're an awesome guy, I love talking on the phone with you, I consider you a best-friend and I hope maybe one day I will get to meet you.
I promise I won't crash your car ;) wink-wink.

ManBoyChef - I know you're going thru some real-life issues right now but I just want to let you know you're doing good man.
You have such a talent with art and you need to keep doing what you're doing!

Toothpastedog - Thank you so much for the advice and being such a great moderator, you have helped so many people.

Moreaux - My fellow Carolinian, you're an amazing woman. You always check up on me and you have such a huge heart.
I hope we cross paths soon, I'm sure we will run into each other in a meeting, if we have not already and just didn't know it!

Captain.Heroin - I will own you in CS 1.6 1v1 de_dust2 any day, any time. I love your advice and you have such an amazing story.
It's fantastic that you continue to stay sober no matter what odds are against you. Stay strong my fellow dope-head.

and to everyone else - I love you all. If you're struggling at all, talk to any of the above people, or myself.
Don't let anyone bring you down and remember you're not alone. We're all here for you and just know, if I can stay clean,
you can too!

I don't know you very well, but you were the first person to post in my thread! Thank you for the advice and support you gave me, as I reread everyone's comments and it gives me motivation to keep going!
I know a little about your story from lurking, you're a very strong person in every way <3

I think the application deadline for the sober living moderator position has expired, but if you are genuinely interested I encourage you to submit an application on the next round as you do have much life experience that would be beneficial to the forum. Of course keep in mind I'm not a Sober Living mod either so I could be wrong lol. I'm just so glad to hear how well your doing! How are you enjoying Charlotte?
 
Just so we are all on the same page, w0w0mg is not currentl a SL mod.

The application process is being finalized by BL staff, however the deadline to submit new applications has passed and is now closed to further submissions.

When the new mod is selected there will be a welcome thread announcing our mod(s)'s new status to the SL community.

To those who applied prior to the deadline for new applications, all I can say is to keep those fingers crossed :)

Apologies for the delay in letting you folks know. Keep in mind BL is run entirely by volunteers donating their time and energy to the site. Official BL sometimes take time. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.

At this date and time no one has been selected as a new mod for SL.

I like Charlotte. Im already working and im in an oxford house. I need to explore some more!

The Sober Living staff want to invite you to stick around, because as it happens, we will need new moderators in the future, and we're all very happy with your participation. :)

You gotta be kidding me..
I'm sorry but that's pretty screwed up. Why even bother doing applications when you don't even pick new users for moderators. I have helped many people on this forum and honestly being rejected for the second time in a row is a huge slap in the face. Great work guys. What a low blow.
 
At least give me a reason for rejecting my application. I'll wait patiently for a this great response.
