Had an odd phone exchange with a connect today, and wanted to hear your thoughts. I called him up, and after the usual pleasantries, said "Do you happen to know anyone selling good MDMA?" He got kind of upset, and said "Hey man, give me some warning and come up with a slicker way to approach that, you're just using very direct terms there!"
I asked if there was someone else in the room with him or something, he said no, but the way I was spelling out what I wanted was not OK for him apparently. Not sure if he was thinking that it was too obvious to anyone tapping the phone. But in the unlikely event that were happening, it's hard to imagine a way to say it that wouldn't be just as obviously a drug transaction.
Still, I'd like to avoid turning off this connect, do you have any suggestions of ways to say this that might be "slicker", as he put it? Also, any interesting/funny stories about communicating with dealers? Thanks!
