I've been a member of a somewhat similar forum for years, which is dying. Looking around this place, I see a lot of similar forum sections and thread titles. I think this place is headed in a better direction, so maybe it's the place I should be for now. I'm an online veteran, going back all the way to the glory days of America Online (AOL).
Back during my college years, there was no opportunity to post online the honest truth about everything I was into, so I could only be myself around a small number of trusted friends. We were living in a mostly conservative, backwards area, maintaining our own hedonistic subculture of drugs, alcohol, and casual sex. All but one of us made it through that period okay.
Weed and alcohol have always been my favorite drugs, but I did go through a coke phase that didn't end particularly well.
I'm a big advocate of personal freedom and responsibility, including the legalization of weed.
