Oh my God, YES! I'm sorry for this being my starter reply to your serious message back but I've been taking Seroquel like CRAZY. I'm talking like 200 mgs throughout the day in an attempt to relax myself and then most nights 300 mgs at night at once to try to sleep plus Nyquil, then get 4 hours at most with vivid, wicked, drug dreams. It's like everyrhing I think about during the day, I then dream of at night.
.....I'm right around your same spot so trust me, I know how it feels.
Last night I slept a little for once with no dreams, just severe sweating (once I read what you wrote I didn't take it before bed, just Nyquil.) They're not cold sweats just SEVERE ones and then I'm off and on chilly all day. And of course so tired.
. But you're trying and to the person that mentioned that you shouldn't do it on your own? I'm pretty sure you'll know if things get TOO bad (such as me with a pulse rate of around 200). But I've learned one thing about opiate/opiod wd's over the past few years. No 2 people are the same. My sister was cut from 180 mgs per day to 10 mgs per day and oddly she's doing OK. Not good but nothing too major that's not controllable at home. I hope that's the case with you.. I just hope not and I know many others feel the same about you passing one is supposed to be one of the most painful experiences one can have
It's not funny at all but so relatable. Pancreatitis is said to be right up there with passing a kidney stone. Although I can only speak from my own experience. Googled it says it's like swallowing a book of matches that are lit (and I can see that) plus projectile vomiting like the exorcist. And mine as I said was due to a blockage.
!!! My overall point though is in the ER (as sick as I f'n was, my main reason for not wanting to stay is cause immediatedly my brain went to; "OH MY GOD! HOW LONG??? I CANT! I WON'T BE ABLE TO SMOKE"!!!!....plus of course what are they gonna give me for pain. This is how bad I was. Again, dilaudid every 2 hours in my iv plus I had a ton of oxys in which I was still going into their bathroom and crushing and snorting them in between. YES, WOW...you didn't read anything else obviously besides the title. It's actually a very informative thread that turned into one about sobriety. Also, on page one someone told me exactly why they feel many make one post, then never return and I fully agree with that person.
Read this on page one if you so choose and see how I immediatedly agreed with every word he wrote. Sometimes it's best to read a little before you judge like I initially did.
I usually never let people get to me. I almost always simply laugh. But right now? I'm not feeling so "laughable".
. I worded things wrong before making it sound like I left and then went back later. 1st I said, "Why? I can just be in pain at home and only eat ice chips as you said that's all I can "drink". He then told me I'd be made more comfortable and I'm thinking, "With what? 20 mgs of oxys and some measly Tylenol." He immediately convinced me I REALLY needed to be hospitalized or I'd undoubtedly be back later. I agreed but asked if I could have 15 minutes to run home for a few things. I mean, seriously, what does one NEED in a hospital right then and there that someone can't bring you later??? It was 3am! I just wrote to you and it all got deleted somehow. Anyway, I'm not sure if I'm of much help since I only use a mobile devise. Since you were able to write on my thread though it should be simple (or maybe not, hahaI would really appreciate it if someone would help me better understand how to navigate blue light. ...in a great way!!!! OK, I got one for you.....since you used a toilet as well (I thought I was the only one on this planet THAT desperate BUT a hospital should be super clean, right?...haha. Did you ever use one certain place in your home where you usually snorted (I only had one place) and out of desperation search the carpeting for a few crumbles hoping that at some point you didn't crush a pill up enough or some may have fallen out of your nose (I tried to spell nose 3 times and it spellchecked to sex...God this phone is wicked!!).....well, I have. And I scored maybe a milligram of an oxy....hahahaha. OH, the things an addict resorts to!
