Hello so my very first time taking Molly was back in February. Then I took it again probably in April then again in June and then I just recently took it July 18. Every single one of those times has just been one pill. When I took it in July, I feeling good and I took three hits of marijuana... Then everything went downhill from there. I started to freak out, my arm felt tingly and numb-ish, heart racing, felt like I was dieing pretty much.. The next couple of days sucked so bad. I was tired alllll the time and I actually went to the ER. Doctor said everything looked fine. The next week I felt semi normal and I thought everything was good. Also I should mention I was doing a diet called Keto (low carbs, high fat). So one night I woke up feeling veryyy hungry but I couldn't eat. Next thing I know my heart rate went back up and it was the same as the night I rolled on Molly. Ever since then I've been having panick attacks and anxiety. I thought I was having heart problems because I am conciously aware of my heart beat and sometimes I get weird feelings in my hands and chest. Went to the ER again cause I thought I was gonna have a heart attack. Doctor says it's still anxiety and he knows I did Molly so he says my serotonin levels are low and that's causing all this anxiety and stuff. Now I do feel like I'm getting better. I haven't had the massive attack since the second time. I feel that my mood is picking up, I can actually have a conversation with people now and I also feel like I can eat again. I'm just wondering on how long until my levels will be completely normal..? I don't feel like I "abused" Molly or anything. I'm never taking it again.. But idk I just want to know if I really did over do it or not. Anything helps!!! Thanks :)

You need to get a test kit and/or send a sample to a lab and find out what your 'molly' is. It doesn't sound like MDMA to me. I've combined MDMA and weed with no problems.

If cannabis is being used to effectively potentiate and enhance the MDMA high -this works for some, not for others- then it is also possible that it can potentiate and enhance the after-effects. I always mixed the two and seemed to get more severe after-effects than my friends who didn't smoke. I love cannabis and still use it, but the MDMA, I decided to leave behind.

Both MDMA and cannabis effect everyone differently in the same way that mixing the two can effect everyone differently.

OP, It will get better! It just takes time, hang in there. There are plenty of threads on Bluelight of people experiencing similar things, you should be able to find lots of good advice and experiences you can relate to scrolling through threads in the MDMA and Empathogens section.

Your doctor is a quack, off 1 pill your serotonin levels recover by the next day or two -- low serotonin is absolute BULLSHIT from 1 pill. Your brain can synthesize the entire store of serotonin in your brain in a few hours, even with impaired tryptophan hydroxylase causing lower synthesis rates -- the serotonin levels are back to normal in a few days.

Receptor binding, and SERT activity, are, however, altered -- may cause panic --

BUUUUTTTTT!!!

What we have here is a failure to communicate -- between your Hypothalamus, Pituitary, and Adrenal Glands -- so you have a hyper-adrenalized response to things that normally would not stress you out

Sweating, heart racing, fear, anxiety --- FIGHT OR FLIGHT BABY --- all courtesy of ADRENALINE

and it could be compounded by --->

*** paleo-ketos do not flame me ****

not everyone can handle ketone bodies in their brain instead of glucose

I went to a +3 ketosis and lost my marbles -- like to the point of give me a shot of ativan -- no a big shot of make me stare and drool ativan

The good thing regardless of the cause is it is likely transient (means really short lived) -- bad thing is is sucks balls

Google HPA axis dysregulation, don't believe the scare mongering -- look for moderate advice regarding recovery

I'm with Shujenga RE the diet. Science says brain needs glucose.

OP, you would be far from the first person to experience problems from monthly MDMA use. That said, if you didn't use a test kit then there's no telling what you took.

Regular exercise, plenty of sleep, and maybe cheating on your diet a bit (stay healthy, but have some carbs) are your best bets to speed recovery.
