How'd you get on with HP? They have notoriously bad customer service, apparently.

I had a bad experience with them but that's not what fully coloured my tissue.

They were pretty good actually. The guy at the computer store warned me about them but they were alright. What they got me to do didn't work in the end but it got me to a place where i eventually found the solution.
 
I have been trying to download civilisation onto my laptop for the last thirty mins or so. I get the feeling I am going to be here for a while because I can't concentrate and I keep messing up the folders! Not so fun!

I had a nasty divorce with the CIV games...one can only suffer being nuked by Gandhi so many times :\
 
Civilization V! I haven't played it or anything like it in yoinks so I am just fannying around trying to remember what to do. It's great fun! I have to force myself off it shortly because I have work and then I am going to some trampoline place with work after hours! :D


Edit; I had to switch my laptop off because I could just see another hour passing before I actually started to get ready for bed. Goddamn civilization.

Its officially my birthday. I've never really gone in for birthdays, it was always during uni Summer break and it kind of feels like if I tried to party the arse off of it, the expectation would be too much to live up to. Kind of like new year, except everyone is up for NYE while not many people give a fuck about your birthday other than you. Going out for dinner with the parents so it will probably just be a few drinks and maybe some hash in the evening.

Pretty lame, but I guess I got my fill of druggery in the months preceding it.
