annoying sayings from drug users

Whoever made his LSD was probably oozing spiritual energy.

I'm sure you've learned by now not to try and actually enlighten them. Stuck in their ways.

I actually read that same thread, and I thought he said that you placed your thumb on your tongue to take the hit or something. But then again I could be wrong, I read it like a couple years ago.
 
- people who firmly believe in drug myths, like, I've had numerous people tell me that "LSD stays in your spine forever" and when I tell them that's been debunked/is not true they're just like "no man I'm right trust me"

- junkies who look down on IV users.. met a lot of people like this lol. like we're both on the same drug what does it matter what my ROA is

- people who crucify hard drug users (or any drug users) but think alcohol is great and fine based on legality

- really hate the drug culture in rap songs and shit nowadays rapping about lean and Percocet and Xanax but heroin is a no go + still very stigmatized which I get but still.. seems as pharmaceutical companies/media has people brainwashed

- dealer says "shit is fire" every time, meanwhile it's average
 
Dealers are awful and it's for some of us to blame them for relapses. It's us who need to build strategies but having a dealer calling you months and months after you are sober can really be annoying.

I've seen that asked and answered a few times. I think unless you had a cut on your hand, you're fine
 
^ Yes I have also read about people who were manipulating grand doses of LSD and they never used gloves. They should have imo due to other reasons but not likely to be absorbed by skin.

Placebo effect can be very powerful though. I've heard of people who thought they've taken LSD and have had different sort of experiences.
 
David Nichols supposedly smeared his body with DMSO, then tried absorbing LSD into his skin (with no noticeable effect), didn't he? I don't think that transdermal LSD is anything most people should be worried about, DEFINITELY not if you're only working with LSD purely on the retail & personal use level. I've definitely heard that rumor regarding the drug before too, though, it's one of many but one of the more widespread ones (that you can get high on LSD simply from casually handling the drug) Complete crap but it's persistent.
 
There are plenty of things "from da earf mon" which will leave you with your head in a bucket & your ass on the toilet. Or a in a casket.

Then again there are semi or full synthetic drugs that have appropriate & valuable applications in modern health systems. That's what I don't get about that sentiment. But then again I don't suppose that it's supposed to make sense...

I also hate it when people ask, "why do you do [insert drug]? Just smoke weed". Like weed is the end-all-and-be-all of recreational drugs...what if you don't like the effects of marijuana? I mean I love weed, it is my favorite drug, but there are many people who dislike the high from it and that's perfectly valid too.
 
"There are no known side effects of smoking weed.. Other than extreme stupidity they're probably correct. However I can't smoke it. I cough too much to the point of throwing up. I'd say that's a side effect.
 
During one my first rehab I shared a room with a 'weed addict'. He was the only person I knew that went to a rehab because of marijuana. This guy wouldn't get out of before smoking a joint, same for sleeping. Going to places, etc. He was there when I first got in and stayed there when I left. Just weed, nothing else. Go figure..
 
Had a friend who used to swear up and down that when he snorted green Xanax he got higher and they tasted like limes.

Milk will save you from a heroin OD or kill you high if you drink it.
