Bernie really needed young people and ideologues out to vote for him. Young people just do not vote IMO. I was talking to my wife about it, and here in Germany there have an option to do so, which makes a lot of sense in my opinion, especially within the context of a two party system.

The closest thing you can do is a write-in, and I guess theoretically you could write in "none of the above."

Tonight just solidifies my beliefs. Not only did Bernie win Indiana when every news outlet in the country has been saying his campaign was over, but Cruz just announced he's dropping out.

With no competition for the nomination anymore, Trump will now turn his entire focus on attacking his "likely" general election opponent, Hillary Clinton.

Let's see how her already terrible poll numbers hold up for the next 3 months while both Bernie and Trump are going after her. She's toast.

I've been saying it for months and have been dismissed to varying degrees by everyone here. First it was "Bernie who???"

Then it was "OK but he has NO chance whatsoever"

Then it was "OK he had a good run but Hillary leads in delegates and the math says it's impossible for him to win"

2 months from now it will be "Well Hillary is the establishment candidate and she had friends in the party and they probably won't vote against her"

And 3.5 months from now it's going to be "WOW, I can't believe he won."

I said this almost two months ago and I'll say it again: Get on the train. No amount of politics or procedure or rules can stop this. This is the mid 60s times a thousand, aka what the 60s could have been if they had social media to coordinate.

We don't hate the constitution. We just realize that it was written many years ago. Progress changes minds. When the second amendment was written, one person couldn't walk into a store and unload a thirty round clip with the possibility of killing thirty people. People were walking around with muskets...not nearly as dangerous.

Personally I love the constitution. Right to free speech, freedom of religion, right to a speedy trial that contains due process of law...so many great ideas...but it needs to change with the times in order to be viable. The problem I see is that the people changing the constitution are not really changing it favoring the american people, rather they are changing it to further cement an oligarchy in place.

Liberals hate America and the constitution and want to change it into a socialist utopia where the government holds absolute power and guns are illegal. The constitution at its core is absolute we have already amended it enough. The cost of freedom is well worth it IMO

I actually do think guns should be illegal (but not mine of course ). I haven't actually ever been in a situation outside of warzone and hunting when I would have thought that a gun should had come handy or even carried one with me unless I am going to hunting or shooting field or when in army.

If you need a gun for self defence in the states then something is wrong either in that country or with yourself.

The constitution only allotted the firearm for one reason and that was to bear arms in case of a tyrannical government. I'm not not even sure they should be used for hunting and self protection. this is why this election is so important. Chelsea Clinton said a few weeks ago that Hilary would change the constitution by getting her scotus picks in. This scares the shit out of freedom loving people that already love this country and the principals it was founded on. I'm buying 5 lower ar .223 receivers tomorrow out of fear an it doesn't feel good.
