Thought it was great to get out early! Arrived at the station and all the trains are at a standstill. So I didn't get on the nice early train and had to stand surrounded by lots of people who were getting as irate as I was.

Managed to get a train so my weekend has finally started. Wish it was the enterprise and I could get a wee drink!

Howdy, all. As has probably been noted ,a couple of speculative posts were removed earlier pending staff discussions. As a result of said discussions we feel it is best to pass on the little information we do have on something that may (or indeed may not) have happened recently and may (or indeed may not) be related to PMs that some members recently received which may (or indeed may not) have caused some concern.

To be completely clear, none of this is confirmed or in any way substantiated at this point. It is entirely possible that it won't be. Having said that, it has been drawn to staff attention that an offsite incident has been alleged. A member claims to have received an unsolicited package containing a baggie of pills of an unknown nature. The member claims that they reported this incident to the police who apparently asked for a list of members the receiver suspects of possible involvement. So far that is all the info we have.

Again, to be clear, there is no confirmation of which - if any - elements of this story are true. Furthermore, if such a list of "suspected" members does exist we have no idea who is on it. Some members have apparently received PMs with a warning of some sort. There is no suggestion that any of these members are suspected of anything by anybody but it is understandable that some people may be concerned about being connected to BL in any way for work, family or other reasons.

And once again, none of any of this is anything other than claims, allegations and rumours at the moment. My personal opinion is that is all that it is in reality but given the possibility of some form of police investigation people need to know what has been alleged and that speculation is probably unwise as well as being unhelpful. If some - or even all - elements of this story are for real then then unless you sent somebody something they didn't ask for you really shouldn't have anything to worry about. As such, can we avoid any and all speculation for the moment please, folks.

I can send you a toffee Crisp FUB?

I suggest you plug it

If your Toffee Crisp is leaking, please return it in a jiffy bag to:

Consumer Services,
Nestlé UK Ltd,
Haxby Road,
York,
YO91 1XY.

This way we, here at Nestlé, can not give a fuck in a more formal fashion, which is essential for our auditing purposes. If our engineers should determine that the Toffee Crisp is, in fact, sea-worthy, you will be charged in full for our diagnostic work. This can be recovered as a one time fee, or you can opt to have your last Rolo absent from the pack for a length of time deemed proportionate to the hassle you have caused us.

Regards,

Nigel Nestlé,

Head of Product Quality Control,
Chairman of the Accountability Denial Board,
Deputy Vice Chairman of The Third World Water Acquisition Association.

If someone did send a package of pills to whoever was lucky enough to receive them, they're probably of the LEGAL RC variety. Wouldn't police take an interest only with ILLEGAL drugs/medicines?

If the generous sender has sent ILLEGAL drugs via a naughtyweb onion site, there is no way of finding out who's behind it, such is the nature of these platforms; and if they've sent some of their own stash, best old bill get the forensics to dust and look out for any stray pubes.

Anyway, it defo weren't me who sent them swedgers. I only send random people Class A's in the post that are suspended in liquid.

Dear Nigel,

May the seed of the loin be fruitful in the belly of your woman.

Kind regards

Mars Confectionary LTD

I just wanted to make it clear that my disappearing from bluelight has nothing to do with any bag of pills nor any potential police investigation.
I was concerned about one post that could have linked my posting here to my real life and possibly used against me. This post has now been vapourised - thanks Ali.

I am not going into any other details apart from that. I just wanted to clarify that i know nothing about this bag of pills incedent. I am still going to take a break from Bluelight as i have real world issues to deal with at the moment.

So FUBAR your telly is safe for the time being.

Consumer.

Good for you. As I said, I'm not sure there's even any actual evidence that anybody sent anybody anything be it legal anythings or illegal anythings. But an allegation of some sort appears has been made. Who it has been made to and what it actually is is somewhat murkier. As such, speculation is both pointless and quite possibly unwise. What people get up to offsite is beyond the scope of the BLUA but could potentially affect people on BL all the same. Or not. And that applies whether some, none or all alleged actions occurred or not.

Dear Nigel,

Mars Confectionary LTD

Thank you for your recent, threat-veiled, reply bearing well-wishes.

We can not be sure which woman you refer to. We have taken the best available measures over the years, by the free supply of our products in office vending machines, to ensure than the executive class of seed in this company does not quicken in the wombs of any the attractive Swiss masses of admin drones and promo girls that we exclusively employ.

Our regional executives, along with our Swiss HQ central assembly number crunchers, have assessed the dangers of these threats. We have decided that, from a standpoint of economic viability, we are much more comfortable with risking Mars LTD exposing the rampant nymphomania and enforced chauvinistic doctrine in the upper echelons of our company.

The cost of social shame of such a scandal, the resulting financial and emotional costs of the many predicted family break-ups, and EU regulatory fines for unlawfully administering birth control compounds in our offices' most tasteless vending machine products, has been determined to be more sustainable in our long-term forecasts than to give into the demands to maintain your silence.

So, I regret to inform you that we will not accept a trade of .1% of our Purina sales profits in exchange for 3% of your profits derived from all Whiskas and Pedigree product lines.

We would like to suggest to Mars Confectionary LTD, as a US company, that is would be most prudent to think deeply about their actions. Much of your company's wealth is hidden in our great country.

On a final note, our government's international law team, despite being a compact operating unit, has a surprising number if tools at its disposal.

Regards, once again,

Nigel 'No Mates' Nestlé

I hope you're right. I just get concerned when I see how short she makes her antennae, once she's far enough away from the house, when she does the Dixons - Currys PC world crawl on a Saturday night.

I don't mean to sound out-of-order but my young one has just come of age and he says she's always joining her coaxial in the toilets with brands like Sharp and even Vestels. She's on track to be a hospital TV but, if she continues down this path, she may end up having to settle for being a G4S security hut TV at some local dole office.

After talking to a number of members and staff about the "situation" i have decided to hang around after considering the pros and cons and i need a distraction from real life events and bluelight provides that. I appreciate the conversations i have had with staff and other members concerned with these "events"

Thats my last word on the subject. I hope G comes back but his situation is a bit different to mine so he may well leave us for good. That would be a real loss to Bluelight.

Now to get that 30p FUBAR owes me for the 3 kilos of Turkmenistan's finest mexedrone.
