I'm on a tiny bit of ambien now (prescribed 5mg but wanted to try 2.5mg first since I've had medication allergies in the past) so excuse typos if there are any. I know it kicked in cause I was able to see a brick wall moving around a lot in my living room. I just really don't understand the ambien stories I've read in the past about people's experiences. I know my dose today was nothing compared to those stories but walking around my house I've been hoping I'm in the right rooms that I think I'm in. Everything seems normal. But how do people not realize they're talking to people that aren't there or staring at someone asleep in the next room over? Or waking up on a kitchen floor or driving to the next state over? Does this stuff all happen to them while they're awake but thinking they're doing something else? Like thinking they're in bed but really on a floor? Or are they really asleep but unconsciously acting out dreams in real life? I haven't even gone to sleep yet and I took mine at 1:25. Wonder if I'm even doing what I'm thinking I'm doing.
