TRUMP 2016, nuff said. I honestly think anyone who supports anyone but Trump is nuts. I don't mean any offence, I would choose Bernie over anyone but Donald J. Trump

MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!!!

The Corporate Media is in bed with the rest of of the scumbag elite. They'll ignore this leak for as long as they can, until the public picks it up through other sources and social media.

It's definitely the biggest scandal... Ever? Close to it. This leak exposed the leaders of like a dozen countries, including Putin, Iceland's Prime Minister, England's Prime Minister, and China's President as well as political leaders from dozens of countries. The one country that's missing is the U.S., which the people leaking it all said will be coming soon. A LOT of heads are going to roll.

This is by far the largest whistleblower leak in history.

Thats what I mean, seems like they would love this story even more than they love Hillary

Well just take a look in the Bernie thread. You got guys like beenhead that still don't understand that the rich and powerful are the problem despite millions of documents of evidence being dumped in their lap. Apparently it takes more than facts to convince some people. And as long as people like that exist the media can get away with simply not reporting one of the biggest stories of the decade.

it also wouldn't be such a big problem if useless ceos who steer their companies to multi-million dollar loses were not compensated as if their companies were doing incredibly well: $51B vanishes: 11 CEOs still get raises

how is that in any way defensible - noble's stock price plummeted 55.8% and the ceo's compensation increased 19.4% to $14.1M?

my guess is that a hamburger flipper - who's excited about the prospect of a $15ph wage - could have helmed that company last year and have done just as poorly...

This!

You could always wait until Tuesday to see what happens in Wisconsin but I expect Bernie to upset her there and win. That will give him all the momentum heading into NY April 19th. If he wins that, it's over. So over even the mainstream media will have to admit it.

Why would Bernie winning Wisconsin be significant? Obama trashed Clinton there in 2008. Doesn't that mean the state should be a shoe-in for Bernie?

Obama turned out voters with his youth and charasima. Lots of people who wouldn't have voted otherwise did just so they could vote for the first black president. He actually campaigned as somewhat of a centrist too, which got him even more votes. A lot of us hardcore lefties that had just endured 8 years of W, Rumsfeld, Cheney, etc felt compelled to vote for him too, even though they disagreed with many of his policies. (I didn't, but it was difficult to not get swept up by the historical nature of the time)

But if memory serves, Obama was already rolling by this point. And he never had to endure the onslaught of negative media coverage like Bernie has because Obama was fine with big money and the plutocracy.

This is the first time in my lifetime that theres a true leftist with a real shot at the presidency. Obama was a left leaning moderate who could give a good speech.

my prediction for Wisconsin - Sanders wins with 63% of the votes.
changing this; its going to be closer to 55% - ill go 57%

i don't see sanders winning ny or many (if any) states after wisconsin. i think clinton is going to take the rest of the northeast - might be close in ca if sanders is still around then. he needed to win some of the southeastern states that obama won to have a chance imo

If Sanders wins Wisconsin today he will have won 7 of the last 8 states, with the one state he lost now being investigated by the Department of Justice for voter fraud. He'll have all the momentum going into NY. Where, by the way, he's cut Hillary's lead by 30 points over the past 3 weeks. I expect the polls to keep trending that way leading all the up to April 19th.

Sooooo...how serious are you? Or even how right are you? Here's why. The odds in the UK for your next President are currently...

(Best odds)

2/5 Clinton

4/1 Trump

12/1 Sanders

14/1 Cruz

Now, I'll give you a wtf?? about Cruz (is that based on Trump dropping out or something?) but I can't see how the bookies, at this stage, would be giving 12/1 on Bernie if your optimism wasn't misplaced GM. Having said that I'd like to make some money...so convince me why you are right and the bookies are wrong.

Lol, I would take those odds while you can get them. To me this just speaks to just how effectively the US media can spin the narrative on anything happening. The race is much, much closer than it may seem at first. When all the delegates from WA and NV are allocated, he's about 200 pledged delegates down. In WA, HI, and AK alone he closed the gap by around 100 delegates in one day. Going forward the races will be a bit harder, but Sanders has huge momentum, huge advantages in fund-raising and the ground game that his supporters are working vs the Hillary campaign's. You see over and over Bernie winning in states where he was down in the polls 20-30+ points just a few weeks before. It's very obvious that Clinton is wearing thin. I'm not quite as confident as GenericMind, but I definitely think Sanders can do it.

If you're a Bernie supporter, look for some volunteer opportunities, as the work we put in will be crucial to him winning. This weekend I did some canvassing here in Oregon for a few hours and we got 6 independents registered as dems to vote for him! If everyone who's gonna vote Bernie puts in a few hours of work to help get the message out there and make sure people are registered, we'll win in a landslide.

Here's what the Democrat candidates are up to today.

Hillary: Meeting privately with big donors attempting to raise money

Bernie: Standing on a picket line in NYC with Verizon workers in 20 degree weather.

Truly a man of the people. If that does not show where the common man's allegiance should lie, I don't know what will.

There was a lot of talk of raising the minimum wage last page. I would like to say I totally agree with raising the wage, either that or cut the cost of living a bit. The way for this to happen is to take back the money from too big to fail CEOs and CFOs. There is absolutely no reason that those people should make that much, especially if our current economic climate is an indicator of their "success". The real problem I see is that those very rich people can use their money to influence politics in a way to keep their wealth.

Generic: I am from syracuse, what part of NY are you in. I am in florida now and I really miss not living in a red state.

well, i'm not 100% sure but i wanted to rustle your jimmies anyway. i read a thing yesterday that said he liked the pats (and boston is a lot closer to montpelier than buffalo :) ). vermont is part of new england after all.
