Technical Problem Why can't I post the little emoticon hearts????

Hi,
Whenever I try to include a heart at the end of a post, it shows in the draft form, and then disappears once the post goes public.
Any fixes?

If you use the emoticons in the bar above your open post it should work fine

Bearlove, it didn't work... I had the hearts in the ^post above. Also, some text between hearts was not posted either.

aside, i wouldn't call that a drop-down. it's more of a pop-out, hence my question.

i just selected the heart from this dialog box:

and it inserted the <3 characters into my post. i typed text afterwards and what you see in post #10 is the result - it worked fine. it's working fine here:

this is odd but i do not believe it's systemic. it's probably some client-side oddness. try clearing your local browser cache and reloading the page.

by using the < + 3 (together) instead of the dialog box.

all the pop-out does is insert the <3 text into the edit box. i checked the value of the element in dev tools when typing it in directly and adding it with the pop-out and it's exactly the same.
