Hey guys this is my first post on BL, ive been surfing the forums for a few years tho. Finally got around to making an account ha.
Anyways this has been bugging me for a couple years now. Ive been smoking black tar everyday for almost 3 years now and I can honestly say that I've never experienced an awesome euphoric high. I can remember the first 6 months or so I would get a nice warm head buzz the first tray I smoked in the morning and it would last about 20 minutes that's it. Since then the only effect I get from black is the nod, and let me tell you still to this day I nod really hard, but only if I've smoked a good amount and im sitting down for a few mins. Other than that I don't get any high, euphoria or abnormal feeling whatsoever. I am very much addicted to it, but im certain its just the act of smoking that I crave. Its weird idk I just love smoking black.
Before I smoked black I used to pop and sniff perc 30's and oxys. Those days were the best, I can still remember the rush from sniffing pills and the roller coaster high that followed. The first couple times I smoked black I was very disappointed, I expected to get that feeling I used to get from 30's. Unfortunately I never stopped smoking black and still to this day I wish I could get that feeling instead of just getting tired and nodding out. I can smoked 3 or 4 dimes back to back, hell even a gram straight and I could get up and walk around feeling completely sober.
and fyi its not because im getting shitty tar, im from phoenix and have very good connects. In fact the Mexican I get my stuff from has the best dope I've ever tried, I've used him every day for 3 years, and over the years I've tried countless other bags from other people, and at best 1 guy had some stuff that was equally good. To put in perspective people that shoot up regularly only need to do half a dime at most and they're extremely fucked up.
Ive tried sniffing it but still doesn't do anything, one time I loaded up almost a full gram in a syringe and sniffed it, all it did was give me the itches and hardcore nod - still no euphoria.
Let me make it clear that im not seeking an intense rush if I was id shoot up, I just don't understand why I don't even feel like im on a drug when I smoke black.. I've tried some really strong china with fent, I snorted what would be a dangerous amount to a normal person and I wanted to say I felt something but it was probably a placebo.
I smoked around 7 or 8 dime balloons a day, which is way overboard but I enjoy smoking so I keep loading trays lol.
Does anybody else feel this way when they smoke/sniff heroin? Im getting ready to quit for start of mid semester classes, and Im glad I am because at this point Im just smoking up so much money, when I could just smoke a cig if im craving smoke inhalation.
Im also considering quiting for a while to lower my tolerance to opiates and then go back to the perc 30's. Any Idea on how long it would take to get my tolerance back down? Last time I was sober was for 20 days when I was in jail last year and when I got out I nodded off way faster than normal and got insane itches. Even If I quit for a good amount of time would I ever feel that euphoria associated with pharm opiates?
