I don't know about winter storms though.wiki said:Tropical cyclones and subtropical cyclones are named by various warning centers to provide ease of communication between forecasters and the general public regarding forecasts, watches, and warnings. Since the systems can last a week or longer and more than one can be occurring in the same basin at the same time, the names are thought to reduce the confusion about which storm is being described. The practice of using names to identify tropical cyclones goes back many years, with systems named after places or things they hit before the formal start of naming. The credit for the first usage of personal names for weather systems is generally given to the Queensland Government Meteorologist Clement Wragge, who named systems between 1887 and 1907.
This system of naming weather systems subsequently fell into disuse for several years after Wragge retired, until it was revived in the latter part of World War II for the Western Pacific. Formal naming schemes and naming lists have subsequently been introduced and developed for the North Atlantic, Eastern, Central, Western and Southern Pacific basins as well as the Australian region and Indian Ocean. Names are assigned in order from predetermined lists with one, three, or ten-minute sustained wind speeds of more than 65 km/h (40 mph) depending on which basin it originates. However, standards vary from basin to basin with some tropical depressions named in the Western Pacific, while tropical cyclones have to have a significant amount of gale-force winds occurring around the center before they are named within the Southern Hemisphere.

Opioid insomnia is shitty.I am really struggling to sleep on this stuff. I am really tired but cant shut my mind off. 10mg of valium has not helped either. I wish i still smoked weed as a nice pure Indica or some Afghani Hash would surely do the trick. Not sure what else i can do. Its either be relatively pain free and have a shit time sleeping or in pain and have a shit time sleeping. Both options are crap.
Take up weed smoking again?
Well it was taking 30mg of instant release oxycodone to knock the head off the pain though my back has settled down a bit. How much codeine is equivalent to that? I have no idea. Never done a CWE but i understand its pretty simple. If i have to buy boxes and boxes of tablets though i would probably pass on doing it. Perhaps i could buy a Nickleback cd...surely that crap would put me to sleepOpioid insomnia is shitty.
Would (otc cwe) codeine provide suitable analgesia? I don't think it is anywhere near as stimulating as oxycodone.
It causes a bad histamine reaction doesn't it? I am talking about the codeine not Nickleback.Nah, nickleback causes violent rages.
You could most likely get a couple of dosages from a box of 40 panadeine (or generic equivalent).

Thanks Sprout and Spacejunk. Maybe i will try it but as its going to take a box of 40 for a couple of doses i would just save it for night time. Its pretty sad that i am reduced to doing this for some analgesia and sleep. The histaminergic effects are more apparent than with most opioids but with a decent anti-histamine (non-CYP2D6 inhibiting otherwise you're wasting your drugs) it's a damn decent analgesic adjunct that doesn't carry the stimulation common of Dihydrocodeine, Oxycodone and Diamorphine.

Yeah getting my gp to change the painkiller is not an issue. Finding one that isn't stimulating is the main problem. I could get him to switch it to MS Contin and try that i guess.Good advice.
Or ask for different painkillers which don't keep you awake all night. I'm sure based on your profession your doctor would listen.
No. Staffordshire oatcakes are the food of the gods. In fact, I'm feeling the need to drop one on the baxton sometime soon .....Yep they sure are stimulating little buggers but they sure are good for managing pain.
We love our bacon rolls but we love even more bacon and egg rolls. Truly food of the gods.
