All right genius, want statistics??

Even though it's not my thread, I think this is how what Egzoset is saying could be demonstrated (not proven as a generality though).

Compare two very similar countries; Canada and the US. Take note of average Cannabis penalties in each country from low to high severity of sentence, considering each state, province and territory. You could repeat this data mining for each type of cannabis offence for more discrete statistics if desired. You'll have two sets of data; one for the US, and one for Canada. You could also repeat this after Cannabis becomes legal on a national basis in Canada. And then compare, etc.

Egzoset; I guess I'm just more optimistic. The Cannabis situation (legally speaking) is infinitely more progressive than when I was a kid, and it is getting better at a rapid rate. The war ain't over yet, but it is winding down.

Tom

What would that demonstrate though? Just that the laws are unjust and hypocritical? I don't disagree, but cannabis laws aren't the only ones that are corrupt.. look into tax laws in the U.S. and you'll probably forget all about cannabis prohibition because you have pants full of shit now.

Egzoset,

I don't mean to imply that youre making simple ideas difficult to understand in order to make yourself sound smarter, but that's how it will come off to many people. I encourage you to try writing more succinctly and to elaborate on your vague ideas. Effective communication requires communicating your point in a way that your peers understand. The smartest, best (subjectively) writers use writing techniques to simplify the delivery of their message. You seem to be using them to the opposite effect

Salutations Slow_Mobius,

Good, i don't oppose to those who prefer not to focuss on a member as the topic instead of the actual topic...

...your vague ideas. Effective communication requires...

Oh... The wind turned fast. More You you you...

Good bye.

this felt relevant

(I also feel like after this thread, Egzo's gonna hate the word "statistics" =D)

that's the kind of song you hear and turn up because you like the harmonies but then turn it back down once you hear what they are saying

hahaa, yeah, dude, and it sadly got stuck in my head after I played it a single time before posting it.

I let it play to the end and almost played it again even with all things considered.

Salutations Jibult,

There's nothing to love or hate about numbers, it's the people who use them that i question. For example, do we have numbers on "toxic" characters (possibly incompetent parents) abusing a position of authority, all in the name of children?... Or else... For example what's the proportion of marginal behaviour falsely associated to cannabis when in fact the teenager gets to face both toxic parents and toxic society at home?

But perhaps the scope is just too larg so lets focus on rehab "Fix my Kid" style centers. How many suicides after young vulnerable persons were crushed by toxic individuals with too large hats, etc.

That sort of less-than funny thing, about those who make a dime out of it, on the misery they cause to young men, and why not, children.

Also, i continue to notice the support of a troll by moderators. Ever considered looking in the mirror lately??

Good day, have fun!! =D

There isn't always a conspiracy going on or people only caring about money. Often times it's simply about the making and changing of laws and then properly regulating them.

Do you think people in legal states don't get in trouble? I've seen first hand people losing their house & business because they didn't buy a license to sell.

"in the name of children".

Recently CO has made a regulation for all edible products to not only be in child resistant containers, but they must contain this graphic on them:

Now I don't support over-regulation, but these types of laws and regulations are good for us and our kids, statistically speaking.

you callin' me a troll, tough guy?

all you were missin' to troll us here was a rickroll as the OP.

I don't really troll.... you want a case of that you'll have to go to the kid whose IP I ended up tracking and talking about all his online exploits before he finally shut the fuck up (not after trying to make a new screenname that was immediately noticed.)

I'm not trolling you, bud, I'm just having fun because you just don't make any fuckin' sense half the time these days. I like ya most of the time, then others it's like you're having LSD-level revelations about only fuckin' God knows what about consuming weed and you come on here trying to convert people.

I also don't get the whole salutation bit, but that doesn't really bother me... it's just kinda weird, bro.

PS. I look in the mirror every day. Don't always like what I see, but it's me and I live with it. Other people do, and if they can't? Fuck 'em.

egzoset thinks everyone is trolling him when someone is just shy of agreeing with him or, god forbid, in disagreement with his point of view.

There are people making and trying to make money on every aspect of life- quite literally from birth to death. Perhaps that has largely to do with the fact that we all live within a corrupted soceity and within the reigns of capitalism. This by no extension implies that the individual is corrupt in a society where money directly equates to survival, just that they were born and have adapted.

Salutations W01fg4ng,

Right now i've got disgusted by the addition of more You You You pseudo-dialog but i'll answer you simply pointing out if i were a kid in distress and i withnessed gang bashing endorsed by officiels then that sure wouldn't where i'd go for statistics that include "toxic" behaviours in a context of so-called "Harm-Reduction". I'm no kid but i feel bad for those who seek assistance only to find themselves in the hands of professional trolls ready to treating them the Narconon-style.

One more try, how many toxic parents ended up in the statistics last year causing prejudice over cannabis while being part of the "Harm Reduction" phenomenon?

Go figure.

Good day, have fun!! In the name of children.

Salutations W01fg4ng,

...most people run into toxic friends eventually.

I know, i keep observing that in such people with authority positions all too often these days, it's life they say.

M'well, in any case it's easy to recognize toxic friends as they always take great lengths to avoid expressing sincere apologies. As a matter of fact they don't even realize they need to do so at all, for them it's only natural. Like an instinct, some predator instinct i would think...

Have you read passages of this book: http://www.carovnezrcadlo.cz/TOXIC-PARENTS.pdf ??

Good day, have fun!! :|

Sober Living might be more suited for this discussion.
