Have I caused permanent damage

OK so I've recently I tried MDMA for a second time (single pill). This was over 3 weeks ago. The night I did it i got very mild jaw clenching feelings. Next day was fine as were subsequent days. However, that same week approx 5 days later I started to suffer from jaw clenching. It was giving me headaches and getting to sleep proved difficult. It's been 3 weeks since then and my jaw still feels tight although it's no where near as bad as it was 3 weeks ago. It's more of a discomfort now. My question is, will this be permanent? Have I managed to mess myself up for good?

3 weeks is nothing man. Give it more time. You should be fine

The one thing that did go away for me after abusing MDMA too much and too frequently was the jaw clenching.

Give it time, it will pass.

Some people say Magnesium supplements help, you could try that, or a multivitamin that includes magnesium (most do).

Some people also "pre-load" their system several hours before they intend to roll to reduce the jaw clenching or bruxism. Try that next time.

However you should wait 3 months between rolls. Read the "golden rules" sticky, so you can avoid the more serious issues like I am having, or like people in the LTC thread are experiencing.

As fun as MDMA and/or X is... It's not worth the serious side effects if you do it too often or too much. You don't want to learn that lesson the hard way like I did, trust me.

thing is what concerns me is that I was fine the day after and for a couple of days after that. It just happened so randomly and it's lead me to wonder whether whatever i ingested (if it was even MDMA-I didn't test it which was dumb of me) has lead me to develop a potentially life long condition. It's just this weird tight feeling in my jaw that hasn't gone away yet. I had only done mdma once prior to this incidence which actually turned out to be largely speed.

It's possible you have strained a muscle in your jaw by biting so hard, had that once too and like in your case I didn't feel that until a day or three after. I wouldn't worry about it too much. Like said, magnesium might help but look it up first, there are different kinds of it and only certain kinds are readily metabolised by the body, there are others that have a very low bioavailability. A single use will not have caused you any permanent damage
