Absolutely terrible gurning/biting

Why me, seriously... I've never seen anyone gurn as bad as I do. Am looking like a complete idiot when I'm rolling but worst of all is the next day I can't eat anything because I have so many cuts and sores on the inside of my gums and sides of my tongue. I also get extremely red and sensitive lips from over licking and sore throats from over swallowing (I guess).

I've tried chewing gum, makes it even worse... Sucking sweets also. I literally have to meditate to relax my jaw, but that doesn't last more than a few minutes.

I've been reading and reading but the only solution I have seen is chelated magnesium, although I also get a very dodgy stomach already which I barely manage to keep in check with antiacid tablets and diarrhea medications so I think that might tip the balance away from what I can bare.

So is there any alternative to this? I don't want to look like a nutjob with my friends, nore do I want to bite holes in my gums every time I roll. Am thinking about making my own topical magnesium cream from magnesium bath flakes but there is almost no information on this for gurning and I've heard it would leave white paste all over my skin so not suitable for the face in public. Or does it get absorbed through any part of the skin and affect the whole body? Has anyone tried it? To be honest I feel like it wouldn't be very effective....

If anyone has any suggestions at all please let me know! I am really suffering and really need to do something about it :'(
 
Try getting into the habit of cracking your jaw instead of biting down, or rolling it from side to side. You look retarded but I never bite myself anymore, even without gum. I end up finding the cracking sensation quite pleasant
 
Hmm, I think I'm already doing that. It doesn't crack but am stretching my jaw because of biting so much it gets tight. Doesn't seem to help :/ Also if anyone has suggestions on the lip licking thing? I use chapstick, a lot but still end up with glowing red lips at the end of the night.
 
Hmm, perhaps try keeping yourself in conversation more? haha... Man I dunno that sucks, I don't get issues with clenching until the comedown at home trying to sleep... Otherwise I just grin way too much while rolling. Probably still look stupid, oh well haha

Have you tried taking a supplement of magnesium? That is the key to stopping clenching and jaws locking up. I always take that before I roll and end up With next to none clenching/gurning. You can easily buy it from pharmacies/drug stores. No side effects to the roll either, it actually helps.

Magnesium cleared this up for me right away. I think the jaw clenching is related to higher blood pressure, and the magnesium lowers your BP. Right?

Also, I make a conscious effort to relax. Focus on something like sexual stimulation. Or chewing gum. Idk wtfe works for you. To me that's the interesting part about doing drugs is getting good at doing them.

Yes, magnesium lowers blood pressure when blood pressure is high. It won't do any good if you have normal blood pressure, but since amphetamines increases blood pressure, taking a supplement of magnesium will help lowering it. Also eating high potassium containing Foods or taking supplements of it will greatly reduce blood pressure when rolling.

Actually, in general, when you want to lower Your blood pressure and keeping it at a normal Level, try eating potassium Rich Foods AND lower intake of sodium, also eating quite large amounts of nitrate will help (some Sources say). In fact, increasing intake og potassium has a greater impact on blood pressure than lowering intake of sodium has.
 
Same happend to me. I'm new to mdma and only rolled twice. My second time on 300mg I chipped my tooth I clenched my jaws so hard. Defiantly get magnesium next time, that's my plan. I have a hard time chewing gum cause I don't like the sweet taste on mdma

What kind of magnesium do you take? I've tried before although I believe it was magnesium oxide (the cheap fizzy tablets you drop in water) which people say has little or no effect. I'm thinking to either try the chelated stuff, or a topical cream, either home made from magnesium bath salts or an expensive pre made one. The bad side effect of magnesium is diarrhea which I already suffer from when I roll, right now I barely manage to keep my stomach stable with meds and am a bit scaread to upset that fragile balance.

Btw I don't think reducing sodium is a good idea when rolling, all the saltless water we drink washes the sodium and electrolytes out of us and is actually one of the most dangerous things that can happen while rolling, although I'm definitely no expert.
 
I've read that magnesium oxide has low bioavailability, and that magnesium chelate would be preferable if available.

Sodium vital to, well, live. You don't want to go about avoiding it on purpose prior to a roll.
 
How about 500mg chelated magnesium? Anyone think this would this be enough to cure the gurnathon and not induce a sh**athon?
