The EADD 3-FPM Megathread

If you were local G I'd love to have some actual medical information.
What scares me more than VT is the risk of V. Fib and hypertrophy - 4-MAR level toxicity as opposed to Amps.

Aye but if it was VF you'd be in deep shit as you'd be..... Well dead really. You have a defib attached to your chest and some clumsy cunt (ahem :)) trying to shock your heart.

Whats that FUBZ? Call a what? Hang on I've got the number somewhere :)

I'm in the same boat as Fubz usually: I make sure I could rewrite the medical textbooks before using something, then ignore everything entirely.
Fucking stupid really.

As a complete poly-substance addict I'm also entirely invalid for scientific study: who knows if the arrhythmia was from the Smack, Crack, Meth, 3-F or Morphine, or anything else.
Sucks 2 b m3, I guess.

Well I've made my fair share of mistakes too so I can't really say much but it's pretty tragic when someone is laying on the floor with defib paddles attached to their chests and people trying to shock their hearts back to life.

But with the ban coming up it doesn't look like 3-F will be around long enough to cause any real serous problems... Maybe it's popular enough to remain around on the black market for a while like mephadrone but who knows.

It's nowt I ain't had before pal....

Aar yoo corlin mee fookin stoooopid??

That's good..

While I've got no proof I suspect that if a person has an existing heart condition then things like 3-FPM could be very damaging but if everything is normal it's probably not going to be too harmful...

It's just one of those things really. We never expect anything bad to happen to us. I've yet to see anyone have a heart attack who said "yeah I knew that was coming"

There but for the grace of God and all that.....

Well I personally am a lil' worried about my ticker recently - I have palpatations almost 24/7, not too bad but I am now eternally consciously aware of the beating, my breathing is slower and shallower than I remember it being before I started on my 3-FPM addiction (only realised afterwards that I was using literally daily at a few points in time).

Get it checked out sprout mate. An ECG takes minutes and would set your mind at rest...

As a side note I wonder if there's any evidence of 3-F causing extended QT interval or anything like that... It's a concern with methadone at high doses and I used to get an ECG every six months to check QT interval.

With regard to the breathing issue, I doubt vaping it is particularly good for the lungs either.

Tbh, when I started using 3fpm, the physical side effects (especially from vaping) were horrendous, but the high was equally amazing. With time I found the high diminished, but so did the negatives. Dunno what to make of this really - does tolerance to recreational effects cause equal tolerance to the negatives? Who knows? (Well not me)...

I have a pretty full scale medical due soon, scheduled it precisely because of the rather worrying symptoms that literally didn't appear until I'd had 3 weeks away... I'm starting to think the insane metabolic build-up with frequent use is why most of us 3-Fiends (y'all are aware we have our own term, right? ;) ) don't report an acute comedown, then begin our next binge before our blood levels drop sufficiently to notice: there exists the potential to be under the influence long after the acute effects.

One of my very first comments on 3-FPM was that it was unique but possessed a quality that could only be described as 'evil and insidious' - I may have met my maker, if you forgive the cliché, and paying the piper with a slow deterioration in my health.
Crack is brutal and makes you aware of such after a few hits, same with Meth, 4-MMC feels toxic by dose three, but 3-FPM fucks your receptors in just the right way to create a whole new kind of addiction.

When the going gets tough...

(The poofs fuck off).... ;)

That's why it's a bit of a worrying substance. You know enough about these things to be able to interpret these symptoms and have an idea of what's happening inside but unfortunately many people don't...

I don't know really..... it's just a bit worrying. Noone wants to see anyone come to any harm.

The way I see it (and also the way I rationalise my drug taking) is that all correlations are based upon statistics - you either fall within the normal distribution, or you don't. This can either be a good or a bad thing, depending upon the viewpoint of the study. Cutting to the chase, this just means 'some people are luckier than others'. There's absolutely no way of knowing which camp you fall in until it's too late. The only way to play safe is not to play at all...

Edit: This is NOT to say that you shouldn't research everything you can about a substance before taking it. Forewarned is forearmed...

Oooh, one thing to watch out for guys... fucking Gout.
Yep, as in Uric Acid crystallisation in the joints - anti-diuretic, reduced thirst, minimal physical stimulation, standing in one position for long periods, vascular damage, peripheral neuron damage; all the factors that can lead to one of the most agonising conditions possible.
Gout at 21 - 4 days in hospital, like having hot glass rattled around my ankle.

All the more likely the older you are.
