So Iinhaled about a 0.02 of glass about 6 hours ago, and while laying on his bed in the dark he notices that his natural night vision (that everyone has when it gets really dark) isn't working so well. It's hard to make up what's right in front of I, but this is actually common whenever Idoes shit. I'm wondering why this happens and if it happens to anyone else?

Hello and welcome to bluelight!
I was actually considering enacting something to help our new members shed the ties that bind them to using SWIM and its various incarnates. You are the first person that I am going to ask that you edit out the use of swim prior to people answering this question (realistically at least) in an effort for people who are lurking to get this rule down before their first post.

It falls under the idea that people/animals learn better through systems of rewards and our reward in this situation is an answer to the question you asked however, please note this doesnt mean i plan on with holding my answer indefinitely otherwise or that it will be the worlds best answer, just trying to clean up the board through positive reinforcement in stead of correcting it myself or having people post as the above person did. Thats very common when you use swim :)

I think its a good idea, as did one other person at least ;) so here give it a shot and like i said it wont be prolonged or indefinite even if you dont but it helps to instill good posting habits in the future

szuko, just a guess but could people stop using swim and such if they would be informed why they don't have to do it.

I meant that do people actually think that if some al-qaeda leader would write "Swim orders swiy to capture a plane and then fly it to World Trade Center." he wouldn't be held in account for giving the order?

Also not a single law enforcement agency will care a shit if someone talks about his drug use in internet and even if thou would care they couldn't be able to do a shit due the sheer amount of people doing that.

They are interested in people who manufacture, smuggle and distribute drugs and in those cases using swim won't cover your ass.

That is very true Mr. Root. Generally people fall into 2 categories, those who care to know "why?" and those who just want to get into the right line so they can get what they need and leave. Not saying explanations arent awesome, i personally love knowing why, but it would have made my first post too long for an introductory post. A lot of it is deciding where someones attention ends for them so 2 posts can make them read with more attention as it resets their span to read again and think of it as new idea... rather then a long one. Hard to explain but you probably got it :)

So thanks for the expansion :) remember its just a trial period i want to see if it helps things

God damn szuko you are too socially smart individual :)

I am quite sure that you counted on for someone expanding your post too :D

I wouldn't want to play poker with you...

Why do people call themselves swim anyhow? And talk in 3rd person? Its so dumb. I don't get it.

They beleive using "somone which isnt me" or pretending it's somone else protects them from law enforcement, which it does not, not that they have anything to worry about anyway, unless you're posting about some serious crime or something.

Are you pupils constricted? When on DXM my pupils dilate massively and any slightly bright light hurts to look at. Your pupils might have shrunken and are having trouble letting enough light in.

That was my guess; there must be something with the constriction of the pupils causing even just a smaller amount of light in. If that occurs and does not automatically fix itself once the person has been exposed to darkness then the room would appear like they just stepped in from a lit room into pitch black. I would guess its possible that after 6 hours your pupils could constrict as a result of less meth in your system I really dont know if constriction follows dilation like some "rebound effects" that can occur.

Then there is the idea that its not so much physical but somehow an effect of the high itself. so like perhaps you are too scattered to focus on seeing in the dark in a sense. Everything takes an amount of focus and if you arent focused and with a racing mind you can make connections that you otherwise wouldnt. Its hard to tell with one persons subjective experiences if it is a pattern or not and i dont use stimulants so i really cant say.

*note to posters, went ahead and edited the original post as the OP didnt come back quick enough. Thank you for your efforts i will try again at some point. I still think its a good idea just needs the kinks worked out*
