Add some further spices to it and leave for a week a couple of cloves, some peppercorns, even some cinnamon or dried citrus peels should boost the taste. I like Captain Morgans spiced rum, seems to go with pretty much everything.

Nice one Strungy. Hope you have an ace Christmas n happy 2016. The run n vody vanillia sound interesting. C'mon you've got to put a pic of bottles now you can't leave us with a comical description. Not fair :D

Cheers Bear. I'll do that have to restock first as we hammered most of the rum last night.
The spiced rums my new favourite spirit, gone off bourbon, just seems far to sweet now. Deffo going to spice things up though ( literally). ��
 
Not a huge fan of rum but Kraken is alright and the bottle is cool, we got one of em in our tarantula's tank.
 
I got my mum that Kraken rum a few years ago because I liked the bottle, never got to try any but she seemed to enjoy it.

Chocolate Yazoo for me, rock n roll. Drank it a bit too fast and I feel kind of sick now but only wimps sip their drinks yo. ;)
 
I am not a big drinker these days but I had to get my annual xmas bottle of Advocaat & bottle of Stags Breath again, a fine whiskey fermented honey comb liqueur,lovely belly warmer drink.
 
Going to pop down to by favourite booze shop in Glasgow and stock up with interesting and delightful ales for Xmas day. I always end up spending a fortune, but worth it to avoid drinking some form of pishwater that's been brought over by someone else. They usually have some ridiculously strong Belgian and German beers in stock, I'll get a couple of those and get some of my more reserved family members drunk, makes me look better if I can sit and tut and shake my head in disgust at someone else, taking the heat off of me.

If your looking for strong beers see if they sell Bear Beer (not making it up) its 12% and not that bad tasting - hits like a truck though as you can imagine being almost as strong as some white wines.

Think I'll have to have a look for some of that. We're spending the day in getting drunk and playing PS4 today so waiting for the gin to arrive. Considering a can of Woodpecker though but just brushed my teeth so can see it being pretty grim, think I'll wait
 
Ah hell why not then, wouldn't wanna feel left out :D Also gonna stick Father Ted on I think, man I love that show especially the 'Speed' episode

I will do, I like my real/cask/craft ales these days - 12% sounds good to me, it means I can swally back on those and people think 'I'm just sticking to beer'. Haha, little do they know that I'm actually pished and coked out of my mind....
 
Yes =D I love the mobile mass they come up with too. Genius. On to the gin and tonic now, kinda wish we'd bought some of the mulled cider that was kicking round the Christmas market, that stuff was fucking lovely, coulda drank it all night.
