Can MDMA be dissolved in the skin?

Can someone get a bit high by touching the mdma crystals or water that has mdma in it? Just wondering.

Maybe I'm just being paranoid haha. I was just cleaning my room and rinsing out some water bottles that had a bit of mdma in it, and I was like, "I hope I don't get it on me..."
 
Yeah, you're being paranoid over nothing.

I don't know if it's even possible to roll from dermal administration of MDMA but if it is, you would have to make some kind of solution with a carrier like DMSO and spread the solution in a very thin layer across your skin. I don't think it will work though, the drugs that I know of that has dermal administration as a valid ROA is much more potent than MDMA (as in, it takes a much lower dosage to achieve the desired results)
 
Most compounds have a hard time permiating through the skin because that is the main function of skin. So if you were able to get high from touching drugs you would be able to die from touching something toxic. Most things need a carrier to pass through a layer like skin they can not do so on their own.

Your skin will absorb water through itself as well as other compounds but its a very specific transfer to avoid other things coming in (called osmosis) this is very common in the body I think they are called lipid bilayers (biology is not my strong suit). If you were sitting in a saturdated water solution I could see it getting through over time. But then again I do not know for sure.
