Hit The Road Jack - Ray Charles (Lyrics)

This last track was written completely spontaneously out of thin air whilst Charles and his long time partner were in the midst of a heated argument, verging on splitting up. If i recall correctly the achievment of creating this composition saved their relationship, as Charles went on to perform this as part of his live shows with his partner as one of his backing singers. I think this was his 'breakthrough' track that propelled him onto huge commercial and financial success. If ever a man deserved a bit of good luck it was Ray Charles.
