There's a bit of an overlap with House/Trance/Progressive and you're right it's all been synonymous with MDMA for the last two decades.

Music generally is in a bit of a slump at the moment, you can see find some awesome tunes but it's few and far between. A byproduct of being old I suppose.

It's okay though, when you have tracks like this that are 23 years old you realise how timeless a lot of stuff is:

I emailed them repeatedly last year to see if they were doing anything Sonar week as we were going but no reply. They'd started doing Ibiza so thought they would just be sticking to that. Went to Sonar Thurs-Sun...and they announced Elrow was on a month before:(Would've cost too much to get everyone's flights changed so just had to miss it.

Might go next year if I get a chance between snowboarding and going to Dekmantel.

I also went to Row 14 for a residents event, April 2013. We got a special delivery to the hostel, but really didn't need to, the place was bloody lawless!

I think we were the only English in there, what an atmosphere, the Spanish certainly know how to have a good time!

agree totally.. since iv started dropping MD again all sounds of music have that magical hair stand on end effect on me
 
Tis a tricky one for me when thinking about this discussion. Took MD for the first time in 2008. It was AMAZING. All the stuff we got until the drought was AMAZING. From one or two sources, but all exactly the same feeling. The only pills we took during this time were the little white hearts and smiley faces that flooded Manchester in I think 2009, again exactly the same amazing feeling.

Then in 2012 our guy told us a drought was coming and he was getting out the game. Never heard from him since, and never had the same feeling since. Mephedrone was the only thing to give anything near that exciting rush and love we used to get. Post drought is the only time I've ever noticed a variation in effects from different sources of MD and different pills. And although the UFOs, Lions and one lot of MD we got a few years ago have been so much better than most stuff, nothing has been as AMAZING as it was consistently pre-drought.

Do you guys that really like the UFOs, All-Stars, Lions etc think they are as good as its been? Or just an improvement?

Actually, just got some crystal like no other I've had before. I've not tested, but seller who I trust tested and it went to dark purple rapidly.

It came as medium/large dark brown/golden crystal (darker than tan stuff I've had before), and crushes down into clear brown/tan small shards/sand. It's very hard, but breaks down far easilly than stuff I've had before.

Also the smell is weird, almost a vanilla-meets-coffee smell, quite sweet. But no hint of aniseed. Also dabbed a few specks on tongue for taste and its SO much stronger in taste than anything I've had before aswell. A metallic/bitter/chemically taste.

Anyone had anything recently sounding similar? Apparently come from France, probably Dutch.

I believe that the UFOs and Turtles (and others from that crew) contained MDMA which was absolutely spot-on. If they'd had some MDA in, they would have been perfect. Not one person grumbled about those pills. I have high hopes for the pink nipples, though.

Let us know how your MDMA works out. I believe the people selling the 'safrole' MDMA and pills containing the same stuff are telling porkies, because they're selling about ten different presses, and I haven't seen anyone raving about any of them, yet...

Have you tried the Orange Teslas? They're the best out of all the beans I've tried recently - I would say 1 Orange tesla had the same effect as double dropping the rainbow drops. There was still something missing, however these came pretty close. Lions and UFOs weren't available to me so I can't compare them to those.

I've acquired a few beans I've not come across before, anyone got any info on green Clovers (clover shaped), Blue and yellow double coloured Minions (minion shape), yellow minions (rectangular shaped) and 100 dollar bills (rectangular bricks with 200 MG and a breakline on other side)?

Let us know how you get on mate. I am quite interested in knowing will this make a big difference. Do we think the Canadians will take use of the safrole available to them? I noticed one of them had a GC/MS test of their MDA which was above 97%. More care than any of the European sellers are showing into proving the quality of their goods.

No, I tried finding some, after reading good things on here, but they'd already gone.

Tec: Yeah, I'll do some guinea pigging. It's all in the name of science, eh? ;)
