Newbie here! Making a formal introduction

Just a weed smoker from living life. High guys!

I'm 22, male, from the USA. Long time lurker, new poster.

I've never taken any "hard" drugs or psychedelics, I've never done coke, heroin, meth, mdma, shrooms, LSD. I tried salvia but didn't like it. Coke and H do interest me, but I'm in no hurry to try them.

My background is with weed... but I'm currently an addy guy. Opiates are my favorite high, but weed is where my heart will always be. I'm a weed guy 4 life.

Nice to meet someone who hasn't tried everything for a change. I once read a trip report on Erowid were the OP took a whole paragraph listing every drug they've ever tried and it included about 30 reseacrh chemicals on to of the usuals. What is it about MJ that wins your heart? (btw, weed is a psychedelic and add is close to meth)

What is it about MJ that wins your heart? (btw, weed is a psychedelic and add is close to meth)

I've been hearing this more and more lately, that weed is a psychedelic. It's weird, I occasionally felt somewhat like I was having a very minor "trip" while stoned, just by the way I can become so lost in my thoughts, and an entirely different way of thinking can overcome me. I just always related saying you're "tripping" on weed to immature kids exaggerating their high, but I have no doubt experienced "trippy" effects.

The reason MJ will always be in my heart is that she's been there for me at times when I felt I had no one else. I went through some rough times a few years back, and MJ allowed me to just get lost in the small stuff... instantly I'd be interested in some dumb show on TV or find extreme enjoyment in a hot bath. Of course, it's been a great social activity as well.

It also helps me fight urges for opiates, cigarettes, alcohol, etc. The amazingness of the opiate high and its addictive nature are a scary thing, MJ helps me control myself.
