So If There Is Anything You Know That Helps You Stay Clean From Any Addiction Please Share Them With Me I'm Here To Learn From Those Who Use Bluelight Because Bluelight Has Become My New Home

Hi, welcome to bluelight. Do you currently take suboxone or methadone? Or do you want to try to taper and get clean/sober via cold turkey? Do you use other drugs at all?

I personally have no experience with opiate addiction but many people here do, and they also have experience using suboxone, methadone, or tapering and doing it cold turkey.

A lot of people also find NA/AA, and even non-12 step programs to be helpful, and seeing a counselor or therapist who specializes in addiction and what causes or triggers use in people to be helpful.

Yes I'm On The Suboxone Strip 1-2 Mg A Day And It Helps A lot With The WD

And I Use Adderal And Xanex Also And Weed And Meth Now And Then

Welcome,

hmm difficult. I was only addicted to Tramadol.
What I can say is Xanax will zombify you one day completely (blackouts).
May be Kratom helps to lower the WD symptoms.

What else can I say? Could plan to get sober or your live will be only a big fuck up.
Taking drugs sometimes is okay. But addiction is life threatening not only for the user.

Shit how is the name of this root that helps ppl getting clean from heavy drug abuse...
In the Netherlands there a clinics for that. But you can buy the bark in the net too. Very expensive but worth.

ATM. I do not know the name - but I know that it exists - it is a bark from a wood in africa.

AND WHATCH OUT:
You are poly toxic so it is possible to combine the wrong drugs and get and serotonin syndrome problem and die. This happens often in the combination of opiates and uppers. So watch out!

Iboga (often used as ibogaine hcl in clinic settings, although I've seen more iboga full extra being used recently) is not to be undertaken for the light of heart. I do not mean to dissuade anyone, it can be an invaluable tool. There are many tools out there. The plant is native to Gabon.

If one decides on a clinic, look carefully. Some of the best info you can find is more or less word or mouth. Iboga treatment isn't necessarily expensive at all, although many do capitalize on it. That is a big step.

Some good documentaries on it out there. The SAM protocol works very well for many people, and for others not so well. There is lots of ways to find success out there. Be flexible and creative.

Feel a bit like an asshole, but I thought it's worth mentioning that there are a LOT of ways someone can help others going through what you have gone (or are going) through. TBH Addiction counselors are often not very helpful, they have rightfully a very poor reputation. Still, who knows. You could help change that.

...My contribution on getting clean down south? DXM. %)

Sure, it's super available, super cheap. I don't think anyone could really say it is any more dangerous than ibogaine at least.

Unless you have some horrible reaction to it, which, depending on the other meds you take and your history, is in the realm of possibility, DXM works really well for alleviating w/d. When I first stumbled upon it, the DXM killed maybe 95% of my withdrawal symptoms and had a really profound, positive effect on my overall direction. Psychedelics, even dissociatives, can do that I guess. MXE and ketamine can work well for w/d too, although they're much less available and ketamine doesn't last long enough imho.

People either love or hate DXM. I think a lot of people would have to be really desperate to try it, but withdrawal can help with making one desperate for relief. It actually helped me get a lot out of that kick, learn a lot of shit and whatnot. Wasn't very function when under the influence of the DXM "high," and in that regard it was pretty humbling to go from normal intellect to intellectually disabled under the influence of DXM (that went away though when the drug worse off a couple hours later).

DXM!

Hm,

and what plateau? As far as I know beside the visions, ibogaine blocks the receptors that makes you feel WD.

Very little is known about ibogaine, less so iboga. It seems like ibogaine acts as something of a minor antagonist, but I don't think I've seen anything research wise indicating that's how it works. Doesn't really matter, as it's an amazing plant regardless. One doesn't need to be dependent or an addict to benefit from iboga either (in many ways it is a lot like ayahuasca that way). I probably should shut up about this as it's so off topic though.

Regarding the DXM... I started off with a high 1st plateau dose, then I ended up dosing a 2nd plateau dose twice a day for a few days before I stopped. In the morning there would be a really really nice afterglow, I'd just sit on my patio overlooking a gorge (lived on a mesa) and sipped my coffee at 7am for an hour, lost in contemplation. People also seem to benefit from slightly less than the recreational 1st plateau dose too, although others seem to need more than 1st or 2nd plateau dose. One day I wanted to really trip out as the introspection was amazing, and I used a 3rd plateau dose, potentiated by a little cimetidine, which was an amazing experience. DXM is a fascinating substance, the NDMAr antagonist is.

I do not like to feel intoxinated. Also that my body is making a fight against this substance. DXM is strange. Sometimes it works perfectly and sometimes you feel shitty. I do not have much experience about DXM because I discovered NO² and MXE. But after banning MXE. Few tries with the followers - but all are not that what MXE gave me.

First thing you have to do OP: is come to the acceptance that you need to be willing to do anything to stay straight, just for this day (considering your post, this shouldn't be too hard because you were willing to do practically anything to get high)

I tapered my heroin and kicked cold turkey in a detox. Afterwords I went to a two month rehab (I knew from countless tries before if I went back to the same environment I left I would be using again without a little time to straighten out) You might want to hit up a detox. It is usually seven days of hell, but when you come out on the otherside you will feel a little better. Each day that passes after you will feel better. You will need to develop a support network before you go in...you may need to blow yourself in with some friends that don't use. Addiction is a malady of the mind and soul. Dependence is of the body. The mind and soul is the harder part. This is where your support network comes in....just having someone to talk to and reassure you that you can manage without drugs is huge. Positive actions and thoughts will heal your soul sickness....but don't get me wrong, life is a real shit pickle...you won't always feel great.

Remember man, this is pretty much one of those life or death things...you might have to try rehab just to shake those feelings and get a little proper help.

Do this. Taking Ibogine and DXM are not going to help, especially if you still have the desire to still use, or think you can get sober from opiates yet still use and get high on other drugs. Good luck.
