I thought being Christian you might scare easy. I was just going to appear at the window, with a noose. I would prefer you wore a mask, but its not essential, for beheadings.

I've made a new resolution to drink less alcohol, but with the money saved buy better stuff! Started off with a pricey bottle of Italian red wine called "Rive Barbara" and it is really amazing. I find with alcohol the "high" is better also, as an actual psychoactive drug it improves as well as the taste. Hopefully the blissful effects will not effect my posting etiquette a little later, at 14% I hope to still be in control in a couple of hours time and not turn into a drunken arsehole. An arsehole maybe, but not a drunken one.

Whatever the hell a yersen is, I might just send it to Morrison's. At 14% this bottle hasn't really effected me at all :(
 
Fucking unbelievable. Stabbed myself in the stomach with a bit of barbed wire and enjoyed a massive wait in A&E followed by tetanus, immunoglobulin shots and iv antibiotics. Life is just shite at the minute. Plus I'm bored as fuck doing stupid cost cutting work at HQ. It's interesting to see where all the money goes I suppose. Found out today that we are spending £27,000 on paper towels and £14,000 on mop heads a year. No wonder we make a loss. So much waste in the NHS.....

Yeh, all big organisations like doing their cost cutting from the bottom upwards, when they would save a damn sight more by sacking half of the ineffectual, self serving, lazy cunts called 'managers', who waste loads of dosh trying to justify their positions...

My thoughts exactly we've got departments where I have Literally no clue what they do and they are all 3 or 4 pay bands higher than paramedics and other front line staff who generally get paid fuck all.

When was the last time you had a tetanus shot? There was a stint a good few years back where due to lack of medical records I had about one or two per year. Anyway, broke up a dog fight about two years ago and was sent home from work when I arrived with open wounds and told to go to A&E. All they did was clean me up. Previous shots would only last for 10 years but I was told by staff that the shots that have been around for around 10 years last a lifetime and if you've had a shot since then you really shouldn't ever need another. Might be worth looking into. Hope your week gets better mate. xx

so just a quick update from me:

I did 13 days without any booze, then I fall in but started over the next day and did go 10 days without, then I fall in again and now im on 4 days without any.

It is getting easier and easier, and I love it.

13 days is a long time Nicklazz. I'm lucky if I do 2, don't beat yourself up too much about that man you did well.
 
Nicklazz, I work in the restaurant industry, nearly everyone I know drinks or smokes every single night. We have to wash the "cunstomer" from our brains! You've done amazing! Honestly, well done! Concentrate more on how well you've done than anything you think you've failed at. You've done very very well. <3

If the spending on mop heads and paper towels is for your station that's huge. If it's for the country then it's tiny.

Why did you go to a & e? I could imagine you going full Rambo with some denatured alcohol and thread scavenged from your jocks waistband. . .

It's for the North East.... 50ish stations. I initially pulled the barb wire out with my teeth and sucked the poison out but eventually conceded defeat and went to A&E (reluctantly) :)
