I bought Fallout 4 yesterday. Gotta wait until November 10th to play it though..

Loved fallout 1 on xbox - got a few of the expansions and just <3 - Borderland was a great game also. Destiny at the moment though

mass effect though !!!

I refuse to pay for a game then pay again in order to play it. Borderlands was mediocre and mass effect was as dull as dish water.

High hopes for Fallout 4 though, so it'd better deliver!

Soooo Anyone that knows me knows I never go to the doctors. I really hurt my back at work the other day so ended up having to go. She gave me 30mg coco's. Thought as much. Got back to the flat, she gave me a prescription of 100!! Are you serious?? I didn't even get that much when I lost the tip of my finger. WTF is that all about?

Also, Sorry for being a bit tetchy with anyone these last three days. The pain is real. I would have snapped a nuns leg at one point. If given a nun...What do I know, I'm talking shite. I don't react well to codeine. Makes me rather floopy.

Nasty - a bad back is a nightmare as it effects everything. Get yourself to see a physiotherapist - will fix you up much quicker than masking the pain with pills.
 
Doc gave me a card so I immediately phoned up thinking They'll have some advice. Nah, It was just a series of questions and an appointment in 10 weeks time! I even said on the phone, I really hope not to be in this state in 10 weeks time!!! I was just looking for some do's and dont's whilst letting my back recover. No help at all.

It seems, not just my own opinion but Sham agrees, I don't agree with opiates. They make me rather sick. Might go back today and see if I can give my script back and get something else. Dunno what as I'm already on 400mg Ibuprofen :\

Pleased to hear this, Sadie, as not to sound patronising but it does concern me when I see others being prescribed 100 cocods. I'm also glad you don't like the feelings of opiates. Codeine totally changed my life. Before I took them I was also atjletic fit, size 8, llving, breathing the health n fitness lifestyle.

Not sure how your finances are n what exactly is your back injury but my advice to you is fibd a chiropracter. I went for many sessions but had to stop as sessions were £50 each hence me mentioning finances. Maybe research chiro. NHS are a bloody nightmare with backs - 10 weeks sounds anout right.

Took thrm months to give me an MRI as they're mostly given to possibly suspecting cancer patients first n are expensive.

I'd look into naparoxon or iboprofen. Shamz once mentioned another medication to be taken if you're put on nap to protect stomach.

PS: youtube is amazing for finding stretching exercises to help back pain, strengthen core ti prevent re-occurrence etc.

You can do a few things to help, if your sitting for a long time (especially chatting on here) check your posture - I know sitting on the sofa etc is the most comfortable but will really screw your lower back.

stretches and lower back exercise can really help (stretching your hamstrings etc)

You have read the rules Wenlock - is 'just stop being such a cunt' mentioned anywhere? I would have thought it would be a great addition as a fall back to issue infractions, racking up points leading to the eventual (and much needed) removal of certain posters.

With destiny it was something like 60$ for the full game (dark below, house of wolves and taken king) - 20$ per expansion isn't really that much considering the content etc. Surprised you didn't enjoy borderlands / Mass effect though - Fallout was a great game - didn't buy any of the expansions (I had a cracked Xbox / copied game etc)
 
Evey is this the relative you had been talking about the other day? Sounds like there's room for some progress, I'm so pleased, hope all is good with you.

I'm doing good. The guy I've been seeing came round last night, cooked me lentil dal and we sat eating hazelnuts and listening to the radio. It was really nice and I was so happy to see him.

I'm feeling the autumn vibe too, it's quite pleasant here (just a bit south of Edinburgh) and I don't like summer anyway as I have pale goth skin and I just burn (nearly wrote gurn there haha).

Hell no :D - In all honesty I go on and off this section (depending on drama level), so applying for a mod spot wouldn't be fair on the section. Thank you though <3
