Darling, you can't think that the actions that others took upon you when you were 7 were your own fault!! It's up to you now if the affect you. I had horrible things happen to me when I was Oddly enough 7. I haven't let them affect me. I do my best to simply be a good person ( even though I can have bitchy fun with my mates )

If you let what others actions have a hold on you then they've won. They're the victors. It's a long hard road but one worth travelling if one must...
 
Then don't darling. Nothing gets said on here too much unless it's a PM or unless you're reading it from another site. Just don't go there for now. You need to re-group and find your strength which we all know you have as you know too... You just need a bit of time to collect yourself. It'll be fine and will soon be like water off a ducks back. You just have to resist the urge to go back and look. You have to find something else to occupy your thoughts until you stop being upset about it. yeah?? xx

Early start for me (already been up a few hour) - Eve, poke a few holes in the top of your cake and add booze :) or spritz it with brandy . Will moisten it up without it going soggy :).

As Sadie has pointed out - if your getting online grief somewhere etc, don't read it. Only you can give that poster satisfaction by either reading or responding, you have better things to do with your time.
 
I've decided I won't look at the meet up thread no more. It's making me angry n upset, something I'm trying no longer to be. Hope people don't think I'm being rude but that thread is upsetting me so best not to read it no more. I come to Bluelight to get away from all that "look at uscwe're meeting" stuff n i don't want to revert backwards which i have been doing.

You're right bear n Sadie. I should no longer read negative stuff about me.

It shouldn't make you either Evey :) - there is nothing negative aimed towards you in that thread (I read it since it was started). It may feel at times a certain thread may be excluding you but that is not the case in there, people have said that you would be welcome to an arranged meeting or your welcome to arrange one (meaning they would be happy to attend / see you). Obviously that would mean you would have to sort child care out etc but your really not being excluded and the fact that you have children isn't being overlooked :).

We had a storm the other day and since then the cooler weather has arrived (it literally happens that quick) dropped nearly 10 degrees in a week <3 (under 100/37 today). Hopefully will be having a bbq at the weekend as the humidity has dropped also.
 
Weather here is weird this year as El Niño is in town and causing a rather dry wet season. Driest I've seen it in six seasons. Bad news for rice farmers and fishermen on the river systems.

As neither a duck, nor a rice farmer I'm okay.

Bit stressed about money, owed three months back pay. I've been a bit Zen about it, now getting over that and moving toward supremely pissed off. But it may get sorted tomorrow. I just sent a fairly disambiguous email to the talking head who controls such things.
