Does anyone else have any experience with this chemical? It's legal and has been available for years. I've recently been experimenting with it and found it to be very potent. It has 100% bioavailability, a long half life (20 - 130 hours) and is very lipophilic. However, care must be taken because it's also a vitamin K epoxide reductase inhibitor so can be very toxic at higher doses.

R.O.A. by inhalation, ingestion or transdermal absorption - but as its insoluble in water it's not suitable for injection.

Effects include: dysphoria, confusion, agitation, impaired motor function, delirium, extreme thirst, headaches, bleeding from orifices and even death.

It's available as tablets, powder or paste and is the active ingredient in several branded formulations.

Yes, I find it to be very effective - for killing fuckin' rats! Perhaps someone should have told this tit before he started smoking it with his weed... ( http://www.researchgate.net/publication/14107256_Brodifacoum_intoxication_with_marijuana_smoking )

I hate people who use long chemical names like that.

It's called SuperWarfarFury to those in the know. Good shit too.

is the kinda buzz I look for on Friday night down the local...

Does is have any negative effects? If there's any music enhancement or euphoria I'll give it a miss and stick to Ricin...!

Yes, the effects profile is very similar to ethanol, especially ethanol and liquid nitrogen cocktails...

No, there's no euphoria, empathy, or music appreciation (its hard to hear when your ears are bleeding), but it is very functional - in fact, I couldn't do my job without it.

Listen, I can sort you out if you can reciprocate with some ricin ;)

SHM, I avoided using the brand name in case of confusion with 'SuperFurryWharfRat' - a very similar compound...

I'm afraid the Wilkos product is the second generation anticoagulant rodenticide equivalent of UK speed - i.e. weak and inneffective. I get mine from Bayer. Now that IS banging gear.

Er.. Evey and Sadie, never take anything said by SHM, ScotchMist and myself seriously ;) Unless we're being serious of course...

Oh, and names of organic compounds are long because they describe the type and positioning of the various other elements and functional groups attached to the carbon backbone of the molecule. Bigger molecules usually have longer names. Honest ;)

Ah never thought of that. Why are the chem names so long?
The full scientific name of an organic chemical describes the way each atom, or common group of atoms, fits together within the molecule. Numbers indicate positions where things other than hydrogen are attached, and prefixes indicate what it is instead of a hydrogen atom. And the more complex the molecule -- the more bits, and the more ways they can be arranged -- the longer the name needs to be to include all this information.

Or for the broader chemical ingesting public; Brodifacoum.

Not sure about the "good shit" part, however. I can't see a bit of rat poison and vitamin K passing as a particularly commoving psychoactive. Really FUBAR, I think you need to fill up your existance with greater things than strange research chemicals off the Internet.

Specifically, you may not:

use Bluelight in any way, shape or form for unlawful purposes, including, without limitation:
attempting to solicit, obtain sell or supply contraband substances or substances of a quasi-legal status or information on how to do so;

reported for sourcing.

I do however think the Bio-Snap has a catchier name and would look great on a silver packet

Oh Raasy, Raasy, Raasy, I thought you were more on the ball than that. I'm afraid you've not got the joke mate - though you're not alone as I think Sadie and Evey took my op seriously as well.

I'm a professional pest controller and brodifacoum is the most potent rodenticide we're allowed to use. Anyway, I was researching the various chemicals in our armoury when I found that article I linked in my post about the lad who regularly smoked it in his spliffs - why anyone would do this is beyond me, but it occurred to me how easily a deadly poison could be passed off as a NPS - hence this thread. I assumed the 'joke' would be obvious (SHM and Scotch twigged straight away), but now I'm a little worried some idiots like the lad in the article could take it seriously and even try it themselves.

So better late than never:

WARNING - THIS IS NOT A LEGAL HIGH, IT IS A DEADLY RAT POISON AND IS NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION - NO, I MEAN IT, IT REALLY ISN'T FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION, OR INDEED ANY OTHER ANIMALS APART FROM RODENTS. SO DON'T FUCKIN TOUCH IT OK?

@Bear: see above. Didn't it click when I said I'd trade some for ricin? Everyone knows that ricin is also not a research chemical, don't they?? Now I demand you unreport me immediately! ;)

haha you were sourcing were you not ? I did get the joke, I added calling it biosnap (one of its trade names) has a catchier tone etc :D (I didn't report your post and was just joking)

Not for human consumption ;);) - (we've all heard that before).

I think the best trade name has to be "Havoc", sounds like any of the wide selection of synthetic cannabinoids that are available... maybe that's why that idiot smoked it with his Marijuana.

Or perhaps, "Ratshot Red" or the self-explanatory, "Finale"... certainly will be a finale if one chooses to start partaking in this poison... ;)
