How do addicts afford their addictions?

I forgot to mention that's purely if you're just using constantly most users from my experience start selling this and that drug to maintain a habit, or beg on top of benefits.

No i did the lying - to people I love. I found that difficult n disheartening because I'm an honest person n find lying extremely difficult.

Unfortunately I've not known a smack or coke addict to date who wouldn't rip me off. Alas I've been too naive too many times... Even people here. Sad but true.

And yes I've had addiction problems but never stolen or deceived anyone for my drugs, I've been lucky enough to have enough money and a job. Functional addict alas...1
