We don't have Autumn :D. It will become cooler during the days hopefully within the next month or so - the nights will get really cold (I don't have heating etc so I have a winter cloths bag [joggers etc]) but day time will be sunbathing heat :D.

I love the next few months though

Vacation was great fun thank you, seems like ages ago now (still haven't even uploaded any photos). We did a couple of stops and looking back I think I would have preferred picking two and staying longer as I feel we missed a lot. I'm sorry your summer wasn't that good, shit happens though - not really worth letting it spoil things.

No I didn't - I never venture into the Blogs (I'm not that sure where they are to be honest [linky please]). We nearly had the same holiday as I was going to go to Europe (pretty much the same places as SHM) - as usual with my travels it changes last minute so we ended up in Sri Lanka (where he was on his previous trip).

Would have been great to meet up with him for a drink/meal etc - think we would both get along well. Shame he is no longer on the site though :(

I went to see a dead whale tonight. It was big. It seems to have died giving birth. I didn't touch it because I didn't want to get my shoes wet.

My life reads like a Penthouse article.
 
What's these super speed pills i been hearing about on the news thats flooding Blackburn? Supposed to be making people extremely violent and have convulsions. Obviously media over exaggerating but what exactly are they?

Aye the place does seem a bit more lively recently!

First day back at uni today, got up at 9, turns out I'm not in while 12. Oh well be prepared n all that. Timetable has worked out awesome this year, am barely there and all my modules are interesting I think.

Grats on the 12 days booze-free Nicklazz, love that feeling when the stuff is getting out your system, is a biiiiig difference

Yeah I am surviving. The usual really... Being reassessed by mental health team as they focused on my ADHD primarily and not my depression and anxiety... Hence this new prescription I'm on and upcoming 'interview' where I'll be answering loads of questions and will hopefully have talking therapy instead of CBT. I dunno when the date is yet.

Feel like I'm being helped out by the system at the moment, which is good I guess.
 
Sounds good Tangerine Dream, it takes time to get to the point where they are actually able to help and get to understand you and your particular problems, I have been through the same, eventually with luck you connect with the right people and actual progress can be made.
 
I've an appointment this Friday with the mental health team... Looks like a course of SSRIs and CBT which I've been kicking and screaming against for far too long, deluding myself that I'm alright really, it'll pass, I'll medicate myself with this or that. 8)

I think this is a battle worth losing tbh... I cant do it on my own, my life as evidence and drug services in my area are no help whatsoever, they just put you on open ended maintenance and keep pointing you to NA meetings..

It's still only been 2 weeks and 5 days, 5 days on a doubled up dose of 150mg ER venlafaxine. The side effects were/are a bit savage... but I'm going to stick with it and see it through. I have 6 weeks (minus 5 days) of tablets (150mg a day) Will keep you guys updated if I start to feel better from it any time/week soon :)
 
I haven't had CBT yet, I may not, I don't think it's suitable for me in contrast to talking therapy.

The side effects were insomnia, weakness, yawning lots, nausea, and increased anxiety which sounds counterintuitive. Seems to all be out the way now but I am sedating myself with other unprescribed sedatives so it's hard to tell!

For sure though the starting 4 or 5 days over 2 weeks ago on 75mg ER daily when I had nothing SELF prescribed to help, were pretty fucking shit to say the least.

sertraline + mirtazapine + pregabalin is what im on.
