Sometimes I can't edit my posts

Sometimes when I try to edit my posts I am unable to do so.

Usually you know how when you press the edit button your whole text will appear again in the box below but you can edit it, but I will just get an empty box below when I press the edit button.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
 
Not sure why this happens or the solution to it. I have noticed it happens more often when I try to edit a thread I started.

Specifically when I click the go advanced button it tends to lead to the disappearance of the original text.

It consistently happens but SOMETIMES if i refresh enough times it will take care of itself, sometimes not.

Basically, I never know when I will or won't be able to edit posts but I usually cant.
 
It drives me a little crazy that you can't edit your posts, only delete and copy/paste the text wherever it's going.
