Someone i know shot up some coke right now and this happened ...says it burns, butdidnt miss..any idea what happened sud he be worried?!? Ok imnew how do i post a pic?

Couple questions....

Do you know the purity of the cocaine? Do you know what possible fillers have been mixed in to increase profits? Did he properly filter the shot before administering via I.V? Was the burn localized or did it travel along the vein? Was it followed by any sort of rash (hives, redness, itching)? Did he use a new hypodermic needle or was it a "gently" used one?

If he survived the cocaine rush then I'd say he is fine, but the habit is a costly one both financial and physical. Any particles that went into the veins can cause irritation as well as injecting a shot that was just cooked, but was not given the sufficient time to cool.

I know shooting hot ones burns very very bad.

This is most likely due to the fact that the mixture is too acidic (not likely, since cocaine is an alkaloid), because the water used to dilute it didnt have enough sodium cloride in it ( an injection solution most commonly contains 0.9 percent sodium cloride, which can be approximated by combining 3/4 tsp. of non-iodized salt with 500 ml of water.), or the possibility that the mixture was just plain to damn hot from cooking. When injecting IV, one should always have the solution as close to body conditions as possible, with respect to salinity (amount of salt) and the temperature of the solution. Injecting a solution that has an off Ph (either too acidic or too alkaline) will burn and sting like hell, regardless of whether your going IV, SC, or IM with the injection. A rather cold solution will also cause much pain. A solution too hot actually physically burns the tissue, which is not a good idea, because it will lead to phlebitis, which will render the vein unusable for pretty much anything, including drawing blood, in the future. Hope this helps.

Jeb. You are the worst troll ever. Your antics are past annoying. Please check for the post in Best of Bluelight for the thread on how to be a better troll.
I can't believe you haven't been banned yet. Hopefully As Soon As Possible.

"I think he's just high"

If 10 minuets have passed he is mostly ok, for now. Nothing immediately threatening. But you need to be careful as something still may be very very wrong.

However, IV drugs brings a variety of risk. Look at the spot he shot at, does it seem damaged? Any lumps? Is it inflamed? He may have just tweaked and hurt himself physically with the needle, and maybe missed just a tiny little bit. It happens, especially when on coke. I've fucked a vein up with one of the larger shots I did, using a 0.5ml rig doing probably the strongest shot I have, at around 20 unites left I tweaked and missed half what I had left and the way I did it IT HURT LIKE HELL, thats how I knew to stop and did the rest into another vein.

I had a huge panic attack once, I shot a D and my whole arm went numb and had a feeling like a morphine rush but painful. Like my arm had fallen asleep, it was bad. I felt it during the D rush, and thought it was strange as it didn't hurt until the rush war off. It felt like a painful morphine rush, I don't know how else to explain it. Went on twice as long as the rush from the D. I was freaking out, I was told by junky friends it was a circulation issue but I thought my arm may be falling off or some shit, LOL. It was kind of numb for like 10 minuets after the pain wore away, and very red for a few hours.
