Does kratom tolerance really increase after just one use?

Last night I took some kratom after 2 months being completely sober minus the xanax I take for anxiety (yes I take more than I'm prescribed every once in a blue moon, but usually just 1mg). This morning (about 9-10 hours after the last use) I used the same amount of kratom again. While I felt relaxed and better I certainly didn't get that great opiate buzz that came with the former use. Does kratom tolerance really increase that fast? If so, would just taking me more be enough or would the effects still be the same as the latter experience (relaxed and minor waves of slight euphoria). Thanks guys!

Quick update: I finally stopped drinking! It was getting me into too much trouble so I decided to indulge in a legal vice that wouldn't involve me getting into illegal activity. 64 days no alcohol! Woot for me! Haha

How much did you take? Absolutely with everyday use your tolerance will rise, but if this is your second day I'd imagine it would be a slighter effect from yesterday and shouldn't be a big difference. Is it fine leaf powder kratom? Or extract? I remember my tolerance rising maybe 1-3 grams within 2-3 weeks of daily use.
 
I never had tolerance rise on me until I would take the same dose once a day for a week. If you wait at least 24 hours tolerance will build much slower, at least in my experience.
 
I took 2 tablespoons last night .I think I took roughly the same amount this morning .It's fine powder. Out of curiosity would taking a tagamet -1:00 a xanax -0:15 and then take my kratom would that potentiate it any? I know it's not really an opiate and all I've seen on other posts are mixed answers .But I'd imagine it can be potentiate as one.

I have never tried tagament with mitragyna. I have found marijuana to potentiate it. Taking it on a empty stomach will be more enhanced. Soon as I eat my high plummets.

I have read grapefruit juice, cayenne pepper, turmeric spice will indeed potentiate.
 
Tagamet does work but only when I had little tolerance. Once I had a habit I never noticed that it did much.
 
WGFJ for some reason when taken with opioids and benzos (alprazolam) just makes me tired, with Tagamet they actually felt stronger.

Haven't tried either, I will and see if I get similar effects next time both on a morning dose and a evening dose. I have tried both with pharma opiates with low effects, but never kratom. I always found miss Maryjane to always help potentiate both with success.
 
Sometimes when I switch veins I get the wobbly eyes if I take a dose higher than 15 grams. Anyone else??
 
Ok so here's what I did .Will edit a report afterwards. -1:00 8oz WGFJ. -0:15 .5mg alprazolam and 25mg diphen . Then mixed 2 Tbsp Green Bali and 1tsp Red Bali with OJ. Waiting for it to start now. Thanks for the help guys .This is basically the only vice I can indulge in. I quit drinking after this last DUI and am now on probation. :( only buds and kratom when I get through this case.

Remember this, low doses tend to be more stimulating 1-4 grams, and more sedative around 5-10. With Bali I low dose for energy and high dose for sedation/relaxation. Good luck in your journey!

There is many stories of people switching from pharmacy pain killers to kratom with great results so the answer is yes. Bali is great for pain relief in my opinion. There is also more stimulating strains of kratom so choose wisely as bali is more sedating and better for pain relief. It will also help you with methadone withdrawal in my experience. Its such a great plant that needs more scientific studying for natural sources to detox from harsher pain meds. Good luck!
 
I am no expert as I'm just shedding knowledge from my personal experiences and what I have read from other experienced users. I have been experimenting with this plant long before it hit the media and the masses of people.

With that being said which strain is more of a stimulant effect? Is it comparable to a stim like ritalin?

Thanks! IME Bali is an excellent strain. Today I'm floating on Tropical Borneo, whatever that is,lol. I also have Bali Indah, I guess that should do the trick. I hope to never have to WD from methadone! It seems I will always need to keep some opiate type thing in my blood, so i like one that really kicks pains ass! Not like POS low dose mscontin.
@MoreFeens, Red vein Maeng Da is pretty speedy :) Not even close to ritalin, but coffee-esque...
 
Yeah, I guess maybe I'm just weird. After that whole thing of potentiating it and taking an even larger dose than I did the last two days I hardly felt anything. I get waves of euphoria at a level of 3-4 on a scale of 10. And that's rare. It's more like a speedy euphoria though. "coffee-esque" as CfZrx eloquently put it lol. I've had good experiences with kratom before, like the one two days ago where I felt like I was on roughly 80mg percocet or maybe a little less. In any case I'm disappointed :( I guess I'll save what I have and wait until Friday night so I can relax while watching Bill Maher :)
