Closest RX Opiate to heroin in the U.S.

Hey guys,

I am an opiate addict of about 4 years off and on and for the last year an IV addict. I tend to do a lot of research on opiates in general. But today I scored some morphine 100s, after doing a few of them I started think. Heroin or diacetylmorphine, is a close deficit ace of morphine which is a direct alkaloid of the poppy plant. So I got to thinking what is the closest prescription pain killer to heroin on the U.S. market. By that I mean molecular structure and also closest euphoria from anecdotal or personal experience. In my opinion all opiates feel much different especially when iced, and to me Berlin feels much different than any RX drug. What're your thoughts guys?

Hey sorry for the spelling and grammatical errors. Above is my edited post. I'm new and couldn't figure out how to edit from my phone.

^ Agreed. Though I'd put the euphoria as a toss up between Hydromorphone & Oxymorphone.
Though I find Hydromorphone lacks legs, whereas Oxymorphone has some; as such might be closer to H.
It's all quite subjective.

Nice to see you around IS! :)

I find oxymorphone to be quite different that H, but it seems like it is the general consensus. What is the effect of acylating

@Erikmen Thanks man. I'm hoping to be around more & to help answer some threads again.
Finally got things on the right track.
Though there will be some gaps as I don't have internet when I'm at my girls place.
Working on that issue though, perhaps I'll finally unlock my Droid DNA & activate that.
That or get a computer running there again, but I'm rambling off topic.

I'll PM ya some details rather than clutter this thread, :)

As for acetylation of Oxymorphone check out this thread in ADD. Err NPD now, my bad.

Acetylation of opiates other than morphine

Hope that helps. I've not had experience with any of the acetylate's of Oxymorphone so can't help there.
However I've consumed in one manner or another pretty much every RX opiate available on the US market.
With said experience I'd still settle on my previous answer. Though a mix might be closer.
For example Hydromorphone or Oxymorphone mixed with Morphine might be closer.
It's really quite subjective & most of my mixed shots involved either a stimulant or H.
As I'd often add Hydromorphone or Oxymorphone to H for a better rush.
So that doesn't really help with your question as those shots involved H. Sorry.

Essentially it's to each there own as to effects as I've stated the experience is quite subjective.
As for structural similarity you can do some reading in ADD, or for something more basic Wikipedia.
As most of the opiates on Wikipedia show structure & have a basic breakdown of the opiate in question.
Perhaps a combination of both, it really depends on your level of knowledge of Pharmacology.
That & perhaps Chemistry &/or Biology as both can be somewhat pertinent to your question.
Either way hope my answer helps you to get a better understanding of your question.
Or at least helps to point you in the right direction. :)

Great to see you moving on.
Keep it up man!! You know you can do it!
:)
