Hey guys do you have personal experience about Krokodil ? Because someone offered me and I refused since read a lot about it. But you know how Medias are, something is true something is not .. Any advice? :?:?
 
If it's made with the nasty process that was featured in the Vice documentary you absolutely do not want to take it. If it's pharmaceutical-grade Desomorphine, go ahead.

Other than that a question that might help answer your question. :)

Where are you located? As Krokodil (Desomorphine) is not commonly available outside of certain regions.
As such knowledge of your location may be able to allow other BL'ers to answer your question.
As based on you location, we'd have a better understanding of the chances of the product being "pure".
Though we can't give a definitive answer to a purity question over the internet;
it might help us to "guesstimate".

The route was invented in Russia - desomorphine was used in Switzerland in the 1950s as a fast acting, short duration, potent analgesic. The main problems with the Russian route are that the yield is so poor, they cannot isolate the active AND codeine undergoes rearrangement at the allylic hydroxyl producing pseudomorphine, iodinated side-products and god alone knows what else. I have a Russian paper on it somewhere and yield is 2-2.5% hence 100s of mg of codeine are required to produce a hit (5-10mg).

I think one solution (a double-edges sword) would be to use dihydrocodeine. Reduction of a plain, secondary hydroxyl is much higher yielding AND no rearrangement can occur. Of course, that would mean a lot more overdoses. DHC can also be demethylated much more easily. AFAIK, the best use for codeine is it's rearrangement to hydrocodone (there is a 2013-4 patent giving 95%+ yields). Hydrocodone can be demethylated as easily as DHC.
 
I saw the piece on VICE about this. Even the name is unappealing and I got the sense that its a very dirty opiate in most places being made in basements or whatever in eastern Europ . The chemistry written above is obscure I wonder how potent it is if made pharmaceutically? There must be a reason its not used in western medicine.

Simple - fentanyl arrived. The Swiss name for it was Permonid and from reports, it's highly abusable. Few situations require an analgesic that lasts for 2 hours... it was rarely used medically so they dropped it. I guess it was the Swiss alternative for dextromoramide (used for breakthrough pain in cancer) but could only be given parenterally, so in-patient only.

With images of rotting flesh and exposed bone fresh in the minds of drug users every where why in the world a dealer would offer a product using the 'krokodil' label is beyond me.
 
lol, but for real, ill never understand the people who do that. I am a dope fiend myself but cant picture NEEDING or WANTING that and seeing it just eat my flesh away. sure, I've shot dope and my hands have blown up, missed veins, damage to arm, etc, but nothing like this shit.
 
I hear the average life expectancy of a krokadil user is like 6 months to 2 years or something crazy like that. Not long, pretty much a death sentence though from the dirty stuff.

My advice to you is to look at the images about people who use this terrible degenerating drug. Just take a quick look and I´m sure you´ll be impressed. Enough not to try. It´s shocking, to say the least.
 
Dude...........I know you cant believe everything you see on TV.....but for real man go watch Drugs Inc. "Krocodil" man......its made in eastern europe either from dried pods or codine tabs if I remember right. Its a cheap, fairly simple as far as processing it goes and not to mention an in-expensive way to get a cheap high. I have watched both documentaries and done research on it just try to understand what would drive a person to do that and only came to one of two conclusions. Either the user is stupid as fuck, and I mean like STUPID AS FUCK RETARDED, and or they are so addicted to opiates they have lost all their inhibitions and need to find a way to supply their habit the cheapest way possible. It fucks up your arms so bad you might as well go find a brown recluse and let it bite you over and over until you die. Unless your dealing with a straight up chemist and you know for a fact its pure.......forget you ever asked that question. Matter of fact just forget it period, because if you know a chemist thats down you should be getting way better shit than that.
